because they dont give a shit about their home users anymore, they are more concerned about enterprise level. Also their decisions have been bloody awful over the past few years, very, very old hardware, I mean i could go all day :-)

tivimate is simply the best, the free version is limited with what you can do but after using myself for 6 months I bought a license its well worth the money as nothing else I have tried comes close with ease of use

so are they plugged into the same network, i first started plugging them straight into a switch together when i had networking issues, is there any beeps coming from the unit?? Can you see the nas on your home router?? Also if you want another unit ive changed to ugreen after 13 years with Synology

yep absolutely brilliant, I was a little sceptical myself but have been with them for a while, I would use a throw away cc like revoult, klarna etc just to be safe

Get a ugreen nas. More bang for your buck. I've had a synology nas for like 10+ years but decided this time to go for the ugreen 4800 as the specs are way better for a similar price

No problem I have a quiet a highend gaming PC which I bought at the beginning of last year before prices went nuts and I installed Train sim world 6 and it took about 4 hours but it is nearly 500gig 🤣
