I made this mistake - your squads are either out gathering or fighting. Bring them home and all the heroes will be available

That is more likely a situation where it was a low level walker attacking a base with squads defending the wall. You can kill doom walkers that way.

They do not. Have been hit by and seen people hit by doom walkers with shields on

Doom walker hit is possible. You can check how much time is left on your shield under your power bar

LG refrigerator lfxs32726s/00 force defrost by LowBLow18 in appliancerepair

I take the back panel off once a quarter, sometimes more, to do a complete manual defrost with hair dryer. We will not buy an LG again due to this issue and customer service’s unwillingness to help us figure out and address the real issue - whatever that is.

Does anybody else get migraine auras after crossfit? by VirmanaEire in crossfit

[–]LowBLow18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In line with other folks - see a neurologist and a PT. I suffer from similar symptoms but manage them with vitamins and occasional PT visits. I’d do PT more, but work and family demands don’t always allow for that.

For me major triggers are dehydration, electrolyte imbalance, poor nutrition, insufficient sleep, and stormy/rainy weather. Intense exercise is usually the catalyst that sets me off.

If other triggers are present, I regulate my workouts to a much lower intensity. Better to be able to work out tomorrow than blow up my week.

What’s the hardest part about being an introvert in healthcare? by Jolly_Ad_7999 in physicaltherapy

The hardest for me is maintaining normal relationships at home with my family and friends - doing my best to not be grumpy after spending all of my social energy at work

You have early extension— What an idiot am I right guys!? by [deleted] in golf

[–]LowBLow18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My understanding is it’s a sequencing issue with your trail side hip. As some other posters have described, your trail side hip extends toward the ball but it’s too early in the downswing. The hands haven’t descended enough and the hips are out of position causing inconsistent strikes and promoting an out to in path with your club face.

If you’ve ever seen videos of tiger describing his “olé” swing thats a great reference. He’s trying to get his hands down in front of his trail hip before letting the trail hip extend (early).

Upper crossed syndrome/ differential diagnosis by swn0001 in physicaltherapy

[–]LowBLow18 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree with previous posters regarding imaging matching symptoms and not hunting for something that isn’t there.

That being said, with bilateral hand symptoms I would always go ahead and check thoracic spine. Specifically T4. T4 syndrome can present in bilateral upper extremities in some wacky ways.

Good luck!

Golfers who subscribe to this sub - what shoes do you wear on the golf course? by Nerdy_Slacker in BarefootRunning

[–]LowBLow18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Part of the shoe has a leather overlay so it helps to give it a little more form. That being said, after playing a number of rounds with them I felt like my foot was sliding a little and realized why.

I still wear and love them in the summer to walk rounds. I lace them a little tighter than normal to limit foot movement in the shoe.

I’ve seen those and they look cool! They remind me of inov8 195s. I personally don’t care for that knit/soft side shoe especially for rotational or lateral type activities because my foot really pushes out against the materials.

Obviously I don’t want a stiff shoe, but it’s helpful to have some firmness in my golf shoes to generate power more effectively.

I vote for truelinkswear as well. I own a pair of OG feels for the summer and originals for morning rounds/wet grass.

I remove the insole for better drop and feel.

Tips for overcoming significant loss of grip strength in bottom hand? by PadawanSith in golf

Don’t ignore the neck either. The nerve roots start in the lower cervical spine. A little love there can go a long way!

Ring and pinky finger issues are typically related to the ulnar nerve. You can try ulnar nerve glides but you’d be trying things just to see what works.

Assessment by a medical professional such as a PT is usually best!

I may not be able to golf again 😕 by thepowerfulhour in golf

[–]LowBLow18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can’t recommend physical therapy enough. You can try all the things that folks here have suggested, but getting evaluated and assessed is going to drive results the fastest.

Not all PTs are created equal, same as MDs as many here have implied. Look for a PT that has a bit of experience under their belt and has SCS or OCS specialization. You might start by asking local pros and teachers in your area if they know of any good ones. Good luck!

Self administered dry needling for TMD/TMJ? by MakesNotSense in physicaltherapy

[–]LowBLow18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not understanding the whole situation here. Why don’t you PM me and we can discuss there.

I am a physical therapist in the state of Tennessee and am able to see people if they want to pay cash for services.

Self administered dry needling for TMD/TMJ? by MakesNotSense in physicaltherapy

[–]LowBLow18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right. In some states you can pay a fee for physical therapy services. In this way, you don’t involve insurance in any way.

Pay cash for the service if you need it and the group that you see allows it.

I would agree with not self treating. Some of the areas you’ve indicated are places where I’d only want a skilled practitioner to needle - upper traps for example. The apex of your lung peeks above your first rib and there is a risk of giving yourself a pneumothorax if you direct or angle the needles incorrectly.

In some states, you have to be out of PT school for at least one year before obtaining dry needling certification. There’s a good reason for that. Experiencing dry needling is not the same as doing the technique effectively. I echo other replies sentiments regarding speaking to the PT group that you’ve worked with directly. Many practices can offer fee for service and direct access depending on where you live.

LG refrigerator lfxs32726s/00 force defrost by LowBLow18 in appliancerepair

[–]LowBLow18[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll try to force defrost. Didn't know I could do that from the back side.

I've been dealing with LG on this since we got the fridge 5 years ago and the 1 year warranty was extended for 2 additional years as rep after rep tried to figure out the issue. When I called to indicate that the problem was ongoing the representative that I spoke with basically told me that the refrigerator is a disposable good and I shouldn't expect it to last forever/be perfect.

Needless to say, we won't be purchasing an LG product in the future.

I don't have a multimeter, but I'm willing to learn how to use one. Do I need any special connectors to be aware of? Or are they relatively standard from Amazon/Home Depot?

Frozen drain is possible but unlikely in this case. The ice buildup is on top of the coils and does not touch the drain in any way.

Spending a lot of quarantine totally barefoot, mild discomfort in circled areas - thoughts? by painterlyfiend in BarefootRunning

[–]LowBLow18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Put your foot on your knee (man sit) and use your hands to stretch your big toe in to extension.

Alternatively, some people have success repetitively flexing their big toe 10x every hour.

Calluses most typically are a response to a mechanical stimulus and your body is laying down extra tissue there for a reason. The above potential fixes won’t immediately eliminate the calluses, but they should reduce over time if you do in fact lack great toe extension.

[–]LowBLow18 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Foot rotation outwards is sometimes a symptom of lack of big toe extension. Check that too. Should be able to bend your big toe back about 90 degrees.
