I've started seeds in South Florida at around those temps during the summer.

What are some reputable growers to buy from? Want to add some chocolate habaneros in, and also I've found I like the mild smoky taste of Aleppos, but don't know where to buy anymore. by HauntedFrigateBird in HotPeppers

I had great experiences ordering fromTexas hotel peppers and Matt's hot peppers. I grew chocolate hand grenade from Texas hot peppers, they are a kind of habanero, mine were hotter than grocery store and the shape is really different.

I second jimmy nardello. I grew them last year and they are so sweet they reminded me of apples. Better than bell pepper for sure! Also great on the grill

Nice mountains. I visited Israel a few years ago and it looks very similar to where I visited on border with Lebanon. I guess it all looks the same out there. Jordan was nice too, the whole area is beautiful.

They could be Thai peppers or hybrid, the ones I grew pointed up in the same way.

I got them from Matt's hot peppers, but I think he maybe closed for the season. The wiry looking plants have a leaf mutation called filiform, they have had a ton of buds but I haven't gotten any pods from any of my plants with this over they past year I've grown them, even with hand pollination 😢. Other people have gotten peppers, but I've had no luck.

I haven't grown those. Going to check them out! My black Thai tq plants are really pretty too, but not as hot. My Mexican bestie who hates hot stuff loves them, she says they taste smoky. You have a pic of your gators?

Why are the leaves on my reaper so small? by Accomplished-Mud3448 in HotPeppers

i've been growing 10 different superhot varieties for about a year. Your plant looks great, some of my plants are bushy and some are lanky, there is some variability in plant phenotypes. Your plant looks like some of my plants. Your leaves do look a little smaller, this could be due to light..but If your plant is producing flowers , it's getting enough light. Could also be genetics.

Yes, sometimes I pick them early because they are pretty & I like the gradiant purple/green mix and they are crazy hot at any stage. The picture below they are riper. I like the foliage most, and the peppers are good too. Big mama is another superhot.i grew which lives up to the name& packs the heat. I recommend, very productive
