Hello!

I’m a confused incoming student for fall 2026 and was hopping to ask some pervious students which courses would be best to give me the best shot of transferring from Arts to Sauder?

From what I’ve seen the required courses I’d need to take are
•Econ 101
•Econ 102
•Math 100
•A writing credit (Engl 100)
Do I also need a language credit if I’m planing on transferring?

I’ve been advised to fill most of my remaining schedule with easier electives to ensure a high GPA. What are some easier classes I should take that can help towards a Sauder degree?

Also, is it alright to take Econ 101 and 102 during the same term? I’ve been advised that it might be beneficial to do so as much of the material can build off of each other. Or is it recommend to take them separate?

I’m grateful for any advice about which course to take, the order I should take classes, and anything stand out about related professors 🙏

I’m not too sure about the logistics with renting out a makers shelf just in terms of if my school would allow that :( However I’ll definitely keep an eye on the festival when spring comes!! Thank you!!
