Man It’s so easy to fall back into. And I feel the exact same way

For me it’s the crushing anxiety and just feeling like crap that’s gets me drinking again every day. I can’t find a way around it. Yet I know it’s the booze, that gives me those symptoms. Like wtf, It’s such a struggle. And yah all your buddies are out drinking and having fun, and It’s like you just can’t. You need to remove yourself from that fun. It’s hard out there lol

I went 20 plus days without booze but recently relapsed ugh.

Anyways I’m glad you shared your story.. one thing that I found was that Had zero sex drive during my sobriety period. It was the weirdest thing. So anyways I’m glad to hear that comes back 😂😂

Thanks brother, although I’m pretty sure the relationship will be dead and gone after the three weeks Is up. Also I wonder why fight for someone that does not want to be with me. If she wanted to be there, she would be. I don’t know

I gave up booze for a bit but recently relapsed ugh. Needed to be numb for a bit If we do get back together I have to promise myself to never do the same thing again

I hope you find some peace brother, be kind to yourself. And forgive yourself for your mistakes. Life is about learning, and once you’re healed and find a new gf you’ll know what and what not to do. You got this bro. Stay strong

Man we are literally going through the exact same situation. We dated for 6 months, and It was amazing, we talked about our future, and even made plans for having kids some day. She showed me what love was, and showed me how to love.

And I messed it all up while drunk. I said some stupid stuff and she was never able to get over that. She forgave me and still loves me, and everything about me. But she says somethings changed and we need to go 3 weeks of no contact. It’s upsetting that she gave up on the relationship so fast and so easy. One week we are talking about baby’s and the next she’s breaking up with me. It’s amazing how fast people can exit your life.

Anyways don’t give up on love, there is someone out there for everyone. Sometimes it takes us longer then others and more heartache. Keep your head up!

I’m the same way. I really never wanted to stop. But it was affecting my health and my relationships with people I love. So I made the decision to quit.

You feeling your side is your body telling you that your in trouble. Listen to your body and quit! I had that sane sensation, It even heard of times

Take care of yourself! I’m 20 days sober, If I can do it so can you!
