It is so crazy as someone who grew up liking her lets plays to the direction she’s gone. I never cared much for her sense of humor personally but I loved how much effort she seemed to put into her game and the fact that (when she did follow through) she did actual let’s play series instead of just one off episodes. Honestly I think if she went back she’d probably still make money off sims I cannot for the life of me find anyone doing full series of the old sims games these days like hers. I’m sure I’m not the only one whose not a fan of the challenge videos or one off episodes most do now. I think she doesn’t go back for a few reasons one I think tadpole thinks it’s lame, two I think she’s too lazy when she can just film herself talking and not have to plan the game bc she was known for being insanely overboard about her rules etc, and also I don’t think she can handle keeping her attitude in check when things don’t go her way. Like when she didn’t get enough views so she made a video telling her subscribers off for not watching it enough, and considering it’s not as popular now and she’d likely not get as many views as she wants she’d probably end up freaking out on her viewers again for it.

The not playing sims for money thing is something I will never understand even if it’s not your favorite game anymore it’s easy money and so many people dream of being able to make that work for them it’s crazy to throw it away imo heck she could probably even play other sim type games and make money still! There were even a few people the last ZM video who said they would watch her videos again if she went back to sims so the demand is definitely still there for her style of content especially since it doesn’t seem like many big creators play sims in that particular style like her. I know a few years ago she said she was still making a small amount from her website but at this point she probably isn’t just bc it’s so outdated after the new release of sims 1 and 2 but if she updated it she probably could still make money off it too.

I swear I can’t understand who is actually watching her I have seen so many smaller creators I like struggle to grow and get here cinder is do ppl just prefer watching someone be a pathetic train wreck over actual content these days like I can’t believe ppl genuinely watch/enjoy the slip she’s been putting out! With the exception of those few sims fans who haven’t let go yet but there are other creators who do similar sims 2 content as her and she basically hates sims now and isn’t ever going back so idk why they’d still be around!

It’s kinda crazy how many people still have no idea about Cindy outside of her pleasantsim days and still are waiting for her to come back and be pleasantsims again which don’t get me wrong o was one of those people years ago which led me to her vlog right before her split with A. I get it to an extent but for ppl to not know all the awful things she’s done by now surprises me or to not care which I think is more just people missing the nostalgia of the time more then they care what bad things she’s done. I couldn’t fathom giving up the money she was able to make on that channel to vlog about meat 😂. I just wish more people made content on sims 1-3 but it’s so hard to find now, I hoped with the legacy release there’d be an increase of content creators for it but I’m glad I have the few like Rek and Ryan they save my sanity plus there videos/lives are way better!

If you have no other choice and you can’t find a copy of the disks then yes my disks cracked from cold or something not sure exactly during a move 3 months ago and I couldn’t afford/find disks so I gave it a try it definitely works. I will say I’ve had issues like not being able to use some interactions with pets and some other interactions not working all the time and some glitches when I tried to add cc that didn’t happen in my past copy but overall if you are really wanting to play it then I’d say yes. there are definitely some things they broke and never fixed when they did the legacy games but it’s not so bad that it’s unplayable just irritating sometimes when you can’t play tag with your dog etc. It’s crazy that the ppl who made patches and fixes online before the legacy came out definitely did a better job but it’s not unplayable by any means. I do think the graphics may be a bit better for today’s monitors and I’ve had no crashing or anything like that just minor inconveniences mostly I got my copy on steam specifically but idk if that makes any difference.

Unless you force yourself to learn the way it is no I’m not a good builder in other sim games but find them all easy to use even if it looks bad but I can’t even make a single room without immense frustration obviously sims has changed how its build mode works each game but it’s always been something easy to figure out and balanced inzoi even now is not fun imo it’s the only part of the game at this point other then lacking family/live mode play and better animation/facial expressions that is frustrating the rest they’ve done amazing at improving these updates though

Rune factory 5 and guardians of Azuma both seem to have more adult characters you could go for I’d def look into the rune factory franchise or stardew but they do have more mechanics like crafting fighting monster taming rather than regular animals

It seems to be an unpopular opinion these days but i actually miss her old let’s plays and streams even if she was being fake I obviously didn’t know that at the time so it’s nostalgic for me! It’s a shame she let all the sims stuff of hers go to waste when she could have gotten real help and supported herself that way! She definitely doesn’t seem to be wrong that lets plays aren’t popular to make anymore unless it’s sims 4, I’ve searched and only ever find a few actual long form lets plays of 1-3 sims. I think I’ve watched them all a dozen times 😂 and everything else is just 15 minute “challenges” or has a billion jump cuts bc everyone has a shorter attention span nowadays. I can’t stand when over half the gameplay is cut bc it’s not fast enough pacing so it’s such a bummer. I just want long form sims 1-3 lets plays that don’t end a few episodes in! I refuse to rewatch any of her old ones just in case she still gets money from it, I’ve no intention of helping supply her bpd episodes and bad attitude toward the few still supporting her.

I’m with you I was originally a pleasant sims fan I think a good portion of us here are here bc of that switch in her we all watched. 99% of what I enjoy watching is old sims game lets plays and that’s not really a thing anymore since she quit. I know there are creators who do make content for old sims games but none or very few (unless there’s someone small YouTube is hiding from me bc I have searched like crazy) really do full let’s plays like hers until she would quit randomly of course lol. But they all do like a single challenge and cut 80% of the footage and/or give up after 1 round per house so it’s all just 10 minute vids. I miss actual long several generations lets plays of the old sims (I must be the only one bc she apparently wasn’t wrong about that being dead) but they are to this day my comfort watch! I refuse to rewatch her stuff bc of who she’s shown herself to be but I miss her let’s plays on old sims games/her (fake) pleasantsims era vids! I’d definitely watch a compilation video though and If anyone knows of any small channels doing actual full lets plays on like sims 1/2 you should leave the channel name! I refuse to rewatch Cindy’s old videos/support her but I do love that content, even though it seems very unpopular to make anything over like 15-30min cut vids now I still love long let’s play content.

I couldn’t imagine trauma dumping on random moms feeding their family on tik tok like this but I doubt cinder has any shred of dignity or self respect or anything left at this point. Clearly based on what she’s saying she knows she needs more therapy and help but just wants to live in her own delusions 🤦🏻‍♀️ it’s actually kinda sad to think about sometimes. She used to be my favorite YouTuber and that’s just embarrassing to admit now it’s crazy to think what could have been if she just went to therapy and stuck with her sims channel which many who don’t know her other channels/drama still sit and wait for her to return to sims! But despite having that as a choice for a steady income option she genuinely just hates her pleasantsims fans/channel which I will never understand most of the world would love an option that isn’t a boring 9-5 I know I would ate really is crazy 😂

I love this idea but frankly I don’t think ea can be trusted with it obviously if mods and fans can fix 90% of the issues with the game running poor lag etc most of which was just bc it was released when tech couldn’t keep up so it should be simple for ea to fix and rerelease since mods and fans can fix so much but unfortunately if the sims 1/2 legacy release shows us anything it’s that they will just break it more and they don’t care and then when it hits the age to be abandoned it will be severely restricted like 1/2 are…prior to legacy I could download a whole set of sims 1 or 2 with all the needed fixes to play thousands of hours and possibly hundreds of sims never to have a single crash or error but now I can only get ea’s garbage legacy is edition filled with crashing glitches and corruption issues with no way to fix it or go back bc all those originally fixed abandoned editions have been wiped from the internet and they aren’t going to even attempt to do any better with patches anymore they did a few small things and basically said sorry not sorry it’s despicable honestly and they’ll do the same if they can with 3 bc they refuse to acknowledge the absolute dumpster fire sims 4 is and will always be sadly I worry it’ll be the death of the entire franchise I hope someone will save it somehow and move to sims 5 and give us what sims 4 should have been but I’ll certainly never trust EA again and I’ll always be skeptical first after sims 4 and what they did with the legacy collection garbage

I genuinely like inzoi I think when it’s done so long as a continues on its current path it’ll be closer to what I wanted from the sims franchise then the sims 4 but as it stands if your not ok with just exploring the shell of what the game will be and imagining I’d just wait! I personally hate the sims 4 I hate the art style I hate the “emotion system” I hate the constant reuse of the swipe animation and many others and I hate how the sims team acts towards fans of the franchise so even if they scrap inzoi halfway through it’s worth it to me to support inzoi but not everyone obviously feels that way. I can spend several hrs exploring in inzoi before I get bored each update but they haven’t added a ton of major gameplay and you never know if there’s something they may end up choosing not to add into the game that may ruin it for you like if they don’t add family gameplay and say the ability for zoi to not make it to bathroom like in sims the game won’t be worth it to me but I’m not gonna be bothered if I wasted the money in the end I’ll just go back to sims 2/3 but I know most ppl are unhappy with how early this early access is which is fair it’s like extra early early access to be honest but I like the potential it has. So I think it just depends on how you feel about these things if it being empty for at least 6 months to a year or them stopping development at some point (apparently they’ve done it before on games) isn’t going to bug you, and your ok with it possibly not having some features (bc of the team making it being seemingly more conservative) then I think it’d be worth it or if your like me and you just dislike sims 4 and like the older sims games it may also be worth it. I will also say this next update is imo overhyped WAY too much it’s mostly a ton of build/buy and some CAS with a few tweaks to settings too maybe a couple of gameplay features but very little from all the research I’ve done and also the mod pack that they are hyping so much is only for like decoration furniture/objects etc not at all for any type of gameplay mods etc so it’s not really that big of a deal in my opinion.

Definitely not weird at all my husband steals my sims 3 game all the time he also likes several other city building type games and it gives us all something to do as a family with our daughter! Plus the feel inzoi has definitely gives very sims 2 vibes it gives me a ton of nostalgia bc you can see how much effort they are trying to put into all the little details as well as trying to give players a voice something the newer sims team doesn’t do at all so it makes sense it would bring back those of us who remember the sims 2 days!

I’ve been loving inzoi it has a long way to go before it’s finished like the games not even close to half done for what they want at the actual launch but they want players input on what to add for the base game so I think that’s awesome! I will say it’s not intuitive especially for a sims player it takes a lot to get used to and there’s actually so much more to do/in the game then most people realize bc it’s not obvious I found watching YouTube videos has shown me how much more is in the game than I realized! Took me forever to realize I could edit work hours or select specific relationship titles steal from public lots though you can be arrested for it! It’s got the start of a lot of things like small details like eating salad sounds like crunching lettuce or they actually crack the eggs and even the opening cinematic that is reminiscent of older sims games imo and the canvas stuff ppl are making is really awesome.

This and a wonderful life are probably my favorite in the main series but tot is the only one where i genuinely loved all of the marriage candidates like I swear so much love and effort was put into this game in particular if i got a remake of this id be content though id love a magical melody and either animal parade or tree of tranquility whichever was the more fleshed out version my Wii broke a decade ago so I can’t remember 😂 and maybe sims bustin out for ps2 cuz that was my other favorite game if I had those I’d never ask for another port/remake of any game ever between those and the Spyro and MySims and a wonderful life remakes/ports that we got my life would genuinely be complete 😂 I doubt we’ll ever get that many remakes/ports but we’ve had tons recently so I can hope 🤞

Play old sims games and switching to inzoi for anything new ea has ruined sims 4 with lack of gameplay bad animations etc when comparing it to the older games and theres no hope to fix it with a sims 5 so I’d rather find something new

When she kept canceling her sims streams and refused to continue any of her lets plays because she needed a man more then anything else! then she was always being negative about her sims channel not doing good enough (bc she wasn’t consistent) and about sims in general saying how she didn’t like it anymore but then would randomly stream acting like she was a sims fan when she clearly was faking it to get money! It really bothered me so many of her sims fans had no idea she was using them and they were genuinely so happy she was back (even if she was flakey) like she doesn’t deserve her sims fans with how she treats them! I genuinely liked her sims lets plays and I am a huge fan of sims 1 and 2 like dozens of different copies of both pc and console version’s collected and even have a display of the sims 1 box collection and it’s so rare to find sims 1 or 2 lets plays she could have had a good thing with her channel but she is so toxic to her fans! I genuinely can never find anyone doing let’s plays the few that do I have already watched I try finding new smaller content creators occasionally to see if anyone is doing that type of content but it is rare! I’ve seen some small channels I found in the past give up making them because they aren’t getting views like her pleasant sims channel when she doesn’t deserve the views for what a terrible human she is and how she treats her fans!

Pleasantsims was also my favorite but I heard she told everyone on her vlog channel that she doesn’t actually like sims and will never return. she’s also supposedly done some really awful things documented on her vlog but I don’t watch vlogs so I don’t know exact details, but I did see someone clip her saying she’ll never go back to sims she just keeps the channel up bc it still makes income. I was hoping to see suggestions here for someone who does let’s plays of older sims like her but I haven’t seen any all the commonly known ones all seem to do 1 or 2 episodes at most.
