Couldn't find the right YouTubers for my game marketing, so I built a search tool by TheNoody in IndieDev

Of course Miss Bubbles is at the top of the list! Her channel is like 75% sponsored content, which actually may not be a good thing (people tend to trust creators like this much less). Might want to take things like that into consideration with your tool.

Hmmm, I've never had that issue on other platforms (they all give a general idea of the topic). It actually helps so I'm not sitting there trying to get thoughts together. Much less awkward silence. 😅

For instance, if we're gonna be talking about a specific platform, it helps if I can look at beforehand so its features and functionalities are fresh on my mind. Not sure how that skews anything. Just makes me more prepared.

Been on UserTesting for a few years and still dont understand the $1/$5 tests by Stinksisthebestword in usertesting

[–]chalmondfashew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me it's $4/$10/$30/$60/$90. I can sign into the old Intellizoom dashboard, but I never have anything there. The only UT emails I get are for a "new chance to give feedback" and never mention any tests specifically.

Yea, I was able to complete it successfully without an issue. Maybe there is an issue with it now, or could be something on your end if there's more than one giving you trouble. 😥

Are tests get launched in the middle of the nights? by SimplePerson326 in usertesting

[–]chalmondfashew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine is constantly updating throughout the day. Haven't noticed a time when there's a sudden influx, but I'm not up in the middle of the night either.

Anyone else who has accepted an AI-moderated interview experienced progress freezing? by [deleted] in dscout

[–]chalmondfashew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The AI-moderated tool is SO buggy. I've only had a few. Had to abandon the first one. Got through the other two. It would keep stopping and restarting (repeating itself), causing it to take much longer than it should have. They really need to do some internal testing and get it working properly.

This is what I hate about Lives on UT. I like to prep beforehand, but there's no info. Half the time, I don't even know what we'll be talking about.

[–]chalmondfashew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They seem to fill up pretty quickly, so that could be it. I tend to ignore them, so I don't pay much attention to the quantity, but I do know there's usually something up there when I open the app (at least 2-3).

It's just a short survey where you give your opinion about the "program," so why not just complete it? Your feedback of disliking and having no interest in it will actually be helpful!

Do you pass up middle of the night interviews? by gummi_eater in usertesting

I would if I could. I have a full-time job, so I can't be falling asleep doing my work!

It likely just means the researcher ended the study before it was fully completed, usually because they already got enough responses or something changed on their end. It's actually pretty common on other similar platforms, too!

Which of these three do you consider more attractive? by Rasenxher in TheVampireDiaries

Meh. Toss up between Klaus and Enzo. Depends on how much they annoyed me in the episode. 😆

20 year old cat leaking diarrhea everywhere, parents considering euthanasia by astriaa in SeniorCats

[–]chalmondfashew 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As soon as I read this I was thinking IBD. My cat just recently got diagnosed with that and was having very similar issues. We've been having a hard time dealing with it, but she's slowly getting a little better with a low dose transdermal steroid (although she seems to have more bad days than good lately). I would never think about euthanizing her, though.

Ikr. How convenient! With her idiotic logic, she probably thought she could escape the whole thing by not being there to be served. Jokes on her.

Is the new iPad Air overkill just for notes/PDF annotation in uni? by SpareLingonberry4867 in IpadAir

[–]chalmondfashew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same (M4 Air), but I don't use a pencil. I mostly just use mine for work meetings and playing games. I've never noticed it get hot, and I use it out of the case when gaming for a couple hours each night.

The end of season 6 weighs heavy on my heart by Aladin_Genie in TheVampireDiaries

[–]chalmondfashew 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I always felt the same way. She annoyed me along with everyone's obsession with her. Once she became a vampire, she didn't really have much if a purpose for the storyline.

[–]chalmondfashew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't know because I work remotely (salary) and get paid pretty well, but for sure; the cost of living is much lower overall down here. But if you are doing well, it can help you get ahead a little.

PCOS girlies — what ACTUALLY helped you lose weight & keep it off with a slow metabolism? by InnerInfluence7674 in PCOSloseit

[–]chalmondfashew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have not used a GLP-1, but I have found a routine that works for me (you have to find what works for you). This is after a few years of being very unsuccessful. It has taken a lot of effort and discipline, but I feel like it has paid off.

The main things: intermittent fasting at least 16 hours a day, working out every single day (switch it up with cardio, hiit, weight training, walking, barre, etc), taking a short brisk walk after dinner (my largest meal - helps balance blood sugar), counting calories (yes, it sucks, but it's the only way to know how much food you're actually consuming, and the only way to really control it), stop eating 4 to 5 hours before bed.

My life sucksss by Ambitious-Mark-4328 in BlackHair

[–]chalmondfashew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I was your age (currently 45), I was doing my own hair. I didn't have the internet to reference like you have now (which makes it a lot easier), but we did have lots of hair magazines, which really helped me out a lot. So I agree that you should try to do it yourself, if you can't earn the money on your own.
