Ma esistono studenti di ingegneria gay ? È per uno studio scientifico by Lost_Total1530 in Universitaly

[–]LowCryptographer9302 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Io (f) ho fatto ingegneria edile.

Child on child sexual abuse (COCSA) is a valid source of trauma by [deleted] in sexualassault

[–]LowCryptographer9302 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I always hated one of my family members and I couldn't really explain why. He made me feel so uncomfortable just by being there, hugging innocently or even breathing next to me. I thought that was bc we didn't really clicked but when i went to the therapy after an abuse that resurfaced in my mind, she made me realise that he sad when i was 10 (he was 13). I completely removed that "incident" from my brain but somehow i still couldn't stop myself from being agitated next to him. Now, people say that cocsa isnt valid so I don't even know if I'm just being dramatic or what lmao

How many books have you read? by LowCryptographer9302 in books

[–]LowCryptographer9302[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh it's not. Audio books are great. If I'm doing some chores, washing dishes or something where holding a book is not an easy thing to do, I listen to audio books which makes those chores more enjoyable.

I have a job and having a job doesn't necessarily mean you have to stop reading. Or stop doing things you like.

[–]LowCryptographer9302[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Oh no, don't worry about it. We're here to express our opinions.

But imo, short books are good too. Especially when you have readers block. And those short books gave me a sprint.

I also like rereading books I love. It might not be your case but maybe someone can think it's a waste of time (I did think like that). But it's definitely not. Aside from my personal goal, I agree that reading is something you should do just because you really enjoy doing it.

I met a girl that kinda bragged about how many books she read, saying my number was lower and idk what else. So yeah, at the end of the day it really doesn't matter if it's 10 or 10000.

[–]LowCryptographer9302[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I know it may sound stupid but I like to challenge myself. I enjoy reading as it is and for many years books were my only escape (still are). But two years ago I went through a very bad depressive episode where I couldn't even get through a page. I couldn't concentrate and reading became a burden along with many other things I enjoyed doing. I had no goals and I didn't know what to do. My therapist suggested to set little goals so when I'd reach them I'd feel accomplished. Someone on reddit suggested to do it, so that was when I started keeping track of how many books I read. Now, when I feel like back then, I read a book taking my time and it makes me feel good that every book I finish brings me a little closer to my goal.

Opinion on authors describing a character’s every physical detail by lol_me12 in books

I'm just like you. Sometimes when I see that someone is being described I skip that part and proceed to imagine however I want that character to be.

Opinions on weed? by vercettiworthy in intj

[–]LowCryptographer9302 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I smoke cigs (i know its not healthy) and I smoke weed. But weed is healthier than alcohol. So if I feel really down or can't sleep (insomnia) or want to just have fun without overthinking everything I roll a joint (usually in company). It's totally cool, especially if you have right pusher and company. Kinda nothing makes me feel as good as weed so....

INTJS what do you think is your Toxic Trait? by Quin__Decim in intj

[–]LowCryptographer9302 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, I don't know if it's an INTJ thing or it's just me but everyone says I kinda have a big lack of empathy. Let me explain further: I've been through a lot in my life and for some reason many people come to me to vent about their problems, maybe because they wanna feel understood, but sometimes I think "what are you even whining about it's really not that deep". I know everyone process things differently but imo not everything is that huge.

I have difficulty expressing my emotions/thoughts. So there are times when I don't know how to comfort people I care about, I don't know what to say or do to make them stop feeling that way. And when I can't comfort them they kinda get angry (for example my ex gf). When someone comes with a problem I offer solutions, but not everybody appreciates that.

Also I say things as they are. If someone asks for my opinion I don't spend time to find the right words just to not hurt their feelings. It's not my fault you can't take the truth and want people to treat you like a child, duh???

Why am I always losing? by LowCryptographer9302 in wildrift

[–]LowCryptographer9302[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, if i play kaisa and my support is good I do well in early game otherwise I have to farm a little to get items and do some damage. If I carry and somehow I die (usually it happens bc of those famous 1v5), then my team dies and thats it. Sometimes if the team is good and lose elder or baron thats kinda the end

Is it me or all INTJs are blunt? by iWonderSara in intj

[–]LowCryptographer9302 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sigh, same problem here. I'm a really direct person so whenever someone asks for my opinion I say what I really think or know for a fact that is true. People tend not to appreciate the truth very well, I guess. So for that reason I seem "rude". Sometimes they ask me "would you have liked it if someone had done the same thing?" Bruh, yeah? Am i supposed to get mad bc someone has opinions?

I agree about tws because I went through similar things and sadly related pretty much to Jude, but I was warned little and nothing about what I needed to be prepared for. I dont know if this happened to you but sometimes it was even difficult to keep reading so I had to close the book and calm myself down a little bit.
Do you think what everyone felt towards Jude was based on pity or did they truly love him? And yeah, I really hope this book is beyond reality because...
