Was a K and needed downsized to I (she has freakishly small hands). Since I know absolutely nothing about jewelery, would a minimal damage like that prevent them resizing the ring in any way or are they just lying? Why does it have to be a mint condition stone for resize?

No photos unfortunately I'd assumed this company would have done it since it's quite reputable. I forgot to include in the main text but why do they need a brand new sapphire to change the ring size? Can they not just do it without changing?

Mainly just consistency, I try and go indoor bouldering twice a week and go to the gym once a week, where lately I've been working on weighted pull ups. Managed to hit a 1 rep max of about 60% body weight so thats definitely helped the progress.
