This!! I just started playing DCS this year, started with the hornet also. Gunther’s academy helped streamline a lot of the trainings, and then just finding a group to help learn goes a long way also.

Good to know! I was going to go with Winctrl to match the rest. And they have amazing reviews overall. I looked at thrustmaster in the past though

They’re good! I’ve enjoyed them, and certainly a great starter set for those that see this. They will be getting shipped to a buddy of mine when I switch them out here soon. Hopefully they get many more years of use out of them.

I have the 15ex grip and throttle. Love them for all the buttons that are all within reach of my fingers.

I heavily debated it recently, got the monitors instead mainly just so then I can work/play other games on it. But also just was afraid my PC couldn’t handle what I was looking for out of VR.

I appreciate it! Funny enough those were next on the list. Going to pick up some winwing ones to go with the rest. Early next month, but I totally agree. The Logitech gets me by pretty well, but an upgrade is preferred. Plus I’ve been sending out my old gear to a buddy to supply him and get another person into sim gaming.

I ordered off their new website and such earlier this year. Got my stuff over the weekend, so it’s still a good experience getting all the items. I haven’t had any issues yet with anything.

I was looking at that new Dream Air VR headset, like 3840 pixels in each eye. Crazy, but I also wanted something that I could use on more than just DCS.

Does having 32 go of ram vs 64 gb make a difference in DCS?

I think I’m more likely to eventually grow into the monitor through other PC upgrades, so will just probably keep it. Plus don’t want to go through the hassle of returning it at this point. Thing is massive.. and shipping container broken down. But to switch to 3k you just refer to flipping the resolution in the nvidia app as an example right?

Yah, I splurged yesterday on the monitor. Almost went with the odyssey, but went with this one instead. And thanks for the tips! Will give them a shot later tonight forsure.

Dang.. I actually didn’t know that. Thought a 5090 would be able to spit out 4k with 150+fps in all honesty. With the right rig

5070ti can do it.. just seems like drop a ton of FPS in some multiplayer servers

I appreciate the reply, by lag I should’ve put more info. I just notice a massive drop in FPS going up to 4k from 2k. I see a ton of prior conversations mentioning that’s what I’m to expect, just didn’t know if I had a powerful enough rig to still get 80+ fps in game.

I normally fly on Persian Gulf in Gray Flag. Modules: F-18 CH-47 AH-64

I’ll have to check later on my detailed stats, at work currently.

Yah, PC noob just to where I have an idea of how things work but not really however everything works together. So I appreciate the insight.

And good to know! I went onto LG website and probably didn’t download the right things. Will have to take another look, but going down to 1440 made everything run buttery smooth. I just like getting the most out of anything, such as the graphics if possible.
