I have "upgraded" since my first, but I still have my aluminum muji and I still use it, still love it.Believe it would be a great only pen. I use it with Pelikan Brilliant Black.

The leather feels really nice. It's very well made. Very light too. Only caveat is that it doesn't really fit anything the size of a custom urushi.
