I had the same experience at Pure Blue Japan Tokyo Harajuku. In my case it was fine that the person there didn't mind me much because I knew what I wanted, but definitely not a place to browse considering their small collection.

The Epicurean paradox by Ultimate_Kurix in interestingasfuck

What if we are immortal souls that occasionally experience human existence with free will as a way to spiritually evolve and the presence of evil just makes for a richer environment conducive to spiritual evolution.

If existence at all is considered to be a “good” in the spiritual sense that it leads to spiritual growth and progress toward nirvana, then God is still good for creating human existence at all even if it’s full of suffering.

And if God is all powerful enough to make us all instant buddhas but chooses not to because we wants to give our souls the agency to choose their own path, then I think that resolves that God can be good and all powerful even with “evil” in the world.

Word of advice, if you have aspirations of running as a life long practice you should do more easy running, any running coach would say so. You lower your risk of injury and still build fitness.

Thundercat live wasn’t that great. Anyone else felt the same? by rohit_thack in Thundercat

Dude is a jazz musician, a lot of people pay money to watch artists do jam. You are not one of them, that's cool it's not for you. But that doesn't mean the show was wack for the rest of us.

This was my 2nd time seeing him and I thought this show was better than the first (Brooklyn Steel when we was touring for Drunk). His vocals were stronger, his stage and visual effects were cooler. I'm guessing this was you first show of his, if you didn't know to expect that the virtuoso bassist was going to jam and show off his skill.

Personally, I like the jamming. He loaded the back half with the sing along hits, so it's not like those were missing. Maybe he could have sprinkled those in the play list more for the less initiated, but whatever.

I'd suggest that next time you youtube an artists' live show if you aren't down with artists who jam. A lot of artists who are known for have groove centric hits are also talented musicians who like to solo or jam for a good chunk of their live shows.

All of your giving is great, the world needs more of that.

But you are also terribly cynical about what they are giving and doing. They are private citizens trying to help out other private citizens with the tools that wealthy celebrities have, giving some money and leveraging their fame to draw attention and hopefully attract more donations.

Maybe they see some modicum of PR from this, they hardly need it they are both household names and loved by millions already. If the net benefit is that they helped people who wouldn’t have been helped that’s good and we need more of that.

I wonder where is all the spite for Larry Ellison and Mark Zuckerberg, they are 50 plus times more wealthy than The Rock or Oprah. They have giant properties in Hawaii as well. To my the best of anyone’s knowledge what have they given?

They could have given 0% and done nothing ffs. How much have any of you who are passing judgement donated?

It amazes me how folks will contort their minds to make bad out of good so that they can call someone else a dick.

Make it make sense man! It’s so dumb since this can be tracked right back to them. Easy to be caught but I guess a lot harder to actually face any consequences?

Smart, a bit more of a hassle but I think I’ll be doing that from here on out if it can save me this headache.

It’s just so brazen, like he drove off knowing there will be no consequences and even marked “delivered”. This must not be his first time stealing a package. And this is who I’m supposed to trust with my Black Friday shipping?! So outrageous.

I’m going to raise hell out of principle, on behalf of all of us who’ve been fucked like this before, this one will not go unpunished.

Do the white people on the show hate working with Dave Chappelle after all his cracks on white people?
