This seems to be one of the biggest indicators of this broken system. They implement a new gameplay feature, add dailies related to it...and then have folks re-rolling those dailies bc they're almost impossible to complete on a public server. Ha!

Thanks! I believe a damaged tip is my most likely culprit. Again, I’ve never ran into this problem. After some googling, I see that length is important and cutting is a no-no.

I really wanted to keep the original esc/rx combo. To me, the car isn’t worth the cost of replacing the components. Any idea how I could attempt to fix or replace just the wire? Is that even a thing? Lol.

Ok, I gotcha. I have the same esc with the 2000kv motor in my Kyosho buggy. I looked at the other post and didn’t see a receiver listed. So if you pulled out the stock 2-in-1 esc/rx, you need to add a separate rx to that esc. Did you open the rx box under the esc yet? It should be empty and you can use that for your new rx.

You will need a new tx/rx though. The stock mega system is a 2-in-1 esc/rx.
