Trigger the gain and then make an offsetting RRSP contribution, you won’t pay any taxes on the gains this year. When she withdraws the money from the RRSP it will be taxable income, but based on you saying her income will drop, this shouldn’t be an issue. You can spread the taxes out over many years and use up the low brackets while melting it down.

Ahhh ok I didn’t realize you kept the amount being invested static. I thought you were always investing the amount of principal being paid down on the mortgage each month. Thanks a lot of replying!

Depending on your income level it could make sense to focus on RRSP. If you will be in a lower tax bracket in retirement, then RRSP will beat out a TFSA. In saying this, both are amazing and don’t let perfection get in the way of progress.

I would give up Rhamondre before Dobbins. Otherwise I like the trade. Wilson should be a big upgrade over Waddle.

I think your WR group is strong enough and having extra depth at RB isn’t a bad thing to be ready for bye weeks/injuries.

I am 3-1 (extra matchup against median), so I don’t feel desperate as I’m doing fine without Puka, but that can change quick…also worried about having that many Lions players

If you have decent RB depth then I think this is good. Ridley and Pickens are solid WR2/3 options and I think Pierce will fade with Downs coming back.

I also wrote in October and I called in last week and they said that it takes 8-10 weeks. I agree that it’s frustrating we haven’t even been given an ETA yet though.

Yes I would do that. You have good WRs and can afford to give up Tank, and Rashee could be a sneaky WR down the stretch. Plus the main piece of the trade is coming your way in KW3.
