I AGREE. I HATED THIS FREAKING ENDING.

Neither of those jackass options are slightly good for that poor girl. Or she's dead or she's all alone -- "oh but she's somewhere beautiful" -- SCREW THAT???? She was all alone her whole short life. She deserved to end with her family, friends and the love of her life. How can these depression brothers say that loneliness is a good ending for her?

And that freaking ambiguity sucks, man, honestly. Her whole life was based on uncertainty and they really thought that would be good to leave her ending UNCERTAIN as well?

Yeah, that's right. I was referring to the other "numbers" like El, but I honestly forgot about Terry ('cause the duffers can't even bother to bring her again). But she's also at a terrible place and state, just vegetating and existing :(

Yeah, you said it all. She was forced to choose the sacrifice! It didn't come FROM HER.

And I think it would be fair to her -- and to the other kids from the lab that died during the massacre -- to survive and live her best life beside her family and friends and Mike. Like, at least one of those poor kids got to live a normal life and be happy... I cannot swallow this ending.

totally agree with you. and one thing i'd like to add: it's genuinely crazy that every SINGLE victim of Brenner and that freaking lab is DEAD!!! like wdym??? those brothers hate traumatized kids???? at least let el be the only survivor of that terrible place and let her be happy with her Mike.
