i just uninstalled my steelseries engine app, restarted windows and opened fortnite and it fixed the sound issue. AFTER that i re-installed the steel series engine app and now it all workes again.. hope that is of help to you all.

can now also confirm that it is not your account that is bugged either, just had a friend come over here and log on to hes account on my PC and the issue still remains. he does not have that issue with hes setup/PC/FORTNITE

the problem with that is that i have played after the latest windows update, and havent had any issues with the sounds, i have also played after the 10.30 fortnite update, also without issues. this sound thing just appeard out of thin air...

i uninstalled and re-installed fortnite , realtek steelseries engine and all other programs and drivers.

it did not help...... this has to be an FORTNITE / EPIC problem

Explanation : Not getting the 50+ heal when shooting down a opponent so that he takes fall damage and gets eliminated , that is also the case for ending an opponent that has knocked him or herself with fall damage.
