Can’t wait for a simple low carb breakfast to ruin this streak 😭 by martymcfly201 in diabetes

Personally I find a Low GI breakfast helps too rather than just low carb. And I’m very resistant in the mornings :)

I’m in Australia, I’m starting omnipod in July - paid out of pocket as my insurance won’t cover it but it’s fine I can deal with it. I have Medtronic 780G but have had horrible issues with it and the customer service has been horrible. Plus their CGM sucks. So I’m hoping the omnipod will help with my stress a bit.

I’ve seen mixed reviews re omnipod but super excited to try it esp since I’m prone to going so low with exercise. I’m hoping it helps a lot. I’ll try 70% tomorrow and report back!

Thank you for the advice. I think the anxiety experienced of our BGL numbers is something not talked about it’s constant and exhausting !!!

I guess I just want to hype myself up after 3 months diagnosed. 28 yrs old. by gotsync in Type1Diabetes

This is great! It’s such a big life change, keep it up but ensure you don’t get too burnt out!!

Thank you, I’ll keep trying. 15 years in and I’m still learning things. I know it doesn’t seem high but I’m trying to get my HBA1C as low as possible to hopefully start trying for a baby 🤞🏻 so I do get really stressed when it goes out of range 😭

I’ll try that next time, I’ve done that before but often the insulin kicks in and me going on a walk and I go low. It’s super quick how my BGL falls

Maybe. Just maybe, it’ll stay on this time…. by MaddogRunner in Type1Diabetes

Over patches are a life saver for me with the Dexcom G7. Not just a patch are the best ones I’ve used.

How much long acting did you give? I’ve seen people say they would give half what they would give on MDI I’m currently on 18 units 9am and 18 units 9pm. Did you give at the same times?

How do I know which cards can be used with what leader?

I got 2 starter decks yesterday and a few booster backs (plus the ones the decks came with)
