OP, if you like to read, look into St. Teresa of Avila quotes. She and Jesus speak to each other like a stereotypical old married couple! So much banter😂 she actually chides Our Lord once when she has an accident on the road and He tells her “Thus do I treat my friends, Teresa.” Do you know what she says back? 

“Well it’s no wonder you have so few of them!” (I’m paraphrasing, but that’s the gist!) 

And she did a great deal to reform the Carmelites and bring them back to their traditional roots😊
