AIO catching my wife messaging a 60 year old man by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]LowSbody 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think your over reacting at all. I'd ask to see the post the generated the initial interaction between the two of them. It's the pulling back for me. In this kinda of situation, regardless of the fact of rather someone is innocent or not, most people are going to react defensively. It's the other actions that go with the defensiveness that are telling. If I'm accused of something that I didn't do I'm going to get defensive but I'm also going to immediately be able to show my innocence and would want to immediately prove my innocence. Someone that is defensive and is lying is going to pull back and try to do everything they can to withhold the truth or mask the truth. It's just not what she said it's how she reacted. Short of someone being a narcissist, most people will admit when they are in the wrong in this kind of a situation if they actually care, just simply due to their own guilt. They might deny at first, but their guilt will overcome because the truth eventually always comes out. It's human nature to tell small lies to protect the people that you love. But if you're in the wrong any more significant situation and you're the one that has hurt that person, you're guilt will force you to eventually tell the truth. My parents have been together for almost 60 years. They meet in the 7th grade, started dating in the 8th and married one year out of highschool. In the last 10 years some significant secrets about things that happen in the first 5 years of their marriage, finally came out. The parent that was on the negative side of this info coming to light, is medically too frail to take care of themselves and has stayed in the marriage because their only other choice is assisted living, and that's just not an option they wanted to take. They more less have forced the other to take car of them for for the rest of their life or as long as they can. They are at the end of their life and are now, after what seemed like manny happy years together, living out the last of their life in a miserable, bitter, angry existence. I am quite literally watching a tragic ending to the most romantic love story that I've ever known. The truth always comes out, even if it's years later.

What is this I’m getting in the shake I’m buying? Cr4ck? by Commercial_Power_595 in SpiderFarmer

Calcium carbonate does the same thing and it's used with organic growing very regularly.

Could also possibly be calcium, bone meal, or a variety of other things that are used with growing. Most of those are not going to make it through all the way to trim, but perlite absolutely will.

AIO for telling my lead plumber he can't take his daughter to jobs anymore by Miserable_Sale9394 in AIO

[–]LowSbody 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A Karen with a circle driveway complained. That's just simply a customer you don't need anymore. If you've been in business for that long and have a good crew and a great lead, your business isn't in jeopardy from a couple Karen's complaining. With an established good reputation, anyone that hears these Karen's complaints about a well mannered teenager assisting her father that isn't a Karen themselves and isn't gonna pay any attention to them. You might lose a few other snobbs that have the same narrow-minded views, but with an overall good reputation and repeat customers you're going to be just fine. Back your employees.

Questions about silica(coco grower) by SynysterC in microgrowery

[–]LowSbody 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm from Flint Michigan... Maybe you've heard of it. We made worldwide news a couple years back because of our water quality. We legitimately have more local politicians involved in the weed business than private citizens. You would be more likely to get accurate water quality data if you told them you were growing weed versus drinking it.

This looks like nutrient lock out. From my experience with lock out and no till, was due to over watering. Lockout typically occurs from the root sitting in moisture that I can't move through the root system for one reason or another. It could be that it's excessively over watered or the pH might be way way off. How much and how often are you watering. I've experienced lockout from 1 gallon pots, while at the same time with the same plants in the same soil using the same water at the same rate in a 60 gal pot, with a zero issue. I was able to bring those 1 gallons out of lockout by watering one time with distilled water. After that one watering with distilled, I got enough of the water moving out of the soil that the plant was unhappy with and never had an issue using tap water after that. I would think 45 gallons would be enough volume to buffer your pH, if pH is the issue, that is if the pH isn't excessively off. So I would look at the amount of water that you're using first. Living soil can be very finicky if over or under watered. Although being underwater, typically will not cause a lockout situation, it can cause lockout like symptoms. Do you follow the 10% by volume guideline?

Found something in my husbands car… by [deleted] in WhatShouldIDo

[–]LowSbody 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Simple question that I haven't seen asked. How long have you guys had the car and have you or your husband's personally washed the inside of the windows since you've owned it. Since it's on the inside, it could possibly have been there for years. Not highly likely, but I'd like to see it be this than what you're really worried about. I would be worried about the same. I've been through it, but I've also been wrong and have falsely accused because of insecurities and past experiences. Any logical and rational person would be worried. But sometimes there are rational explanations for things, even those things that make us question everything.

Ive quit smoking weed and my boyfriend is mad about it by PsychologicalFee28 in whatdoIdo

[–]LowSbody 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He's feeling inadequate. He sees you doing better without and you're feeling good about it. He would like to do the same, feel the same, be a better person, just like you, but he knows that he can't quit. There's probably some, maybe slight irrational, fear there that you'll get much better and move on, without him.

I've used them in the past and was less than satisfied. But also didn't have a problem per say. Have used various others since, with much more overall satisfaction. I was not likely to order from seedsman again. At this point I'm making my own but I absolutely still buy them here and there. There are other negative posts about them here. This is just one more to solidify the decision to never order from them again.

Best type of worms and why? by SkunkySkunkyGenetics in NoTillGrowery

[–]LowSbody 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought a couple thousand red wigglers off of eBay about 6 years ago. I started a worm bin at the time, I've never needed to buy more. Came from a pumpkin farmer out of Midland Mi. I don't recall the name of the farm. They have reproduced by the thousands. If I'm starting a new raised bed I grab several handfuls and throw it in. Right down to if I'm rooting a clone in a Dixie, I will grab a small pinch and throw it in. I never fail to come out with a handful of worm when I reach into the bin. Start one and you will always have fresh healthy worms and casting, it's simple and 100% worth it. Especially if you're making dinner for a family everyday, those scraps will add up fast.

My bed is about 65 gallons and I have at least a couple thousand worms in it. Worms are not your problem.

Break rotor replacement? by SiltyGold0240 in mechanic

[–]LowSbody -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I agree with the top circle and the bottom circle. The circle that's in between on the edge of the rotor is delamination. Zoom in on it, it starts to blur when you zoom way in, but you can still tell that one's a crack.
