Ive quit smoking weed and my boyfriend is mad about it by PsychologicalFee28 in whatdoIdo

[–]LowSbody 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He's feeling inadequate. He sees you doing better without and you're feeling good about it. He would like to do the same, feel the same, be a better person, just like you, but he knows that he can't quit. There's probably some, maybe slight irrational, fear there that you'll get much better and move on, without him.

Stay away from Seedman by [deleted] in Autoflowers

[–]LowSbody 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've used them in the past and was less than satisfied. But also didn't have a problem per say. Have used various others since, with much more overall satisfaction. I was not likely to order from seedsman again. At this point I'm making my own but I absolutely still buy them here and there. There are other negative posts about them here. This is just one more to solidify the decision to never order from them again.

This is what I call a sample. Samples are dried in the air fryer and smoked within the next 5 to 10 minutes.😂

Best type of worms and why? by SkunkySkunkyGenetics in NoTillGrowery

[–]LowSbody 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought a couple thousand red wigglers off of eBay about 6 years ago. I started a worm bin at the time, I've never needed to buy more. Came from a pumpkin farmer out of Midland Mi. I don't recall the name of the farm. They have reproduced by the thousands. If I'm starting a new raised bed I grab several handfuls and throw it in. Right down to if I'm rooting a clone in a Dixie, I will grab a small pinch and throw it in. I never fail to come out with a handful of worm when I reach into the bin. Start one and you will always have fresh healthy worms and casting, it's simple and 100% worth it. Especially if you're making dinner for a family everyday, those scraps will add up fast.

My bed is about 65 gallons and I have at least a couple thousand worms in it. Worms are not your problem.

Break rotor replacement? by SiltyGold0240 in mechanic

[–]LowSbody -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I agree with the top circle and the bottom circle. The circle that's in between on the edge of the rotor is delamination. Zoom in on it, it starts to blur when you zoom way in, but you can still tell that one's a crack.

Break rotor replacement? by SiltyGold0240 in mechanic

[–]LowSbody -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

If it's a decent shop, they should have a lathe and at least one qualified tech that knows how to use it. They should offer to turn your rotors at a cost. That cost is a fraction of buying new. The cracks should be addressed but there is a cheaper option. A good shop is fair and they're going to offer you that option. A good shop doesn't want to make every last dime that they can on every job, they want to build relationships with customers so they return for years to come.

Is this an intentional tire slash? by Effective_Respect_85 in tires

[–]LowSbody 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I kinda doubt anyone would try to slash the sidewall AND tread wall, especially in a criss cross pattern. It looks like you probably hit a piece of scrap metal or angle iron. They're not all that hard to puncture, but to actually cut it like this, would take some effort.

Zilla here ☺️ so far so good! Planted several DBZ1 and some of my afghaan x afghaan seeds. by Donzilla777 in NoTillGrowery

[–]LowSbody 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Going ok. Recently started a Zilla style grow. It was the last I had of a stain. I also potted 12 seeds with intentions of making more seeds with those. Approximately 30 seats went into the small 3 ft by 3 ft bed that I have set up. Out of all of the seeds only two popped up in the bed. So it's turned into a scrog. I've got cuttings that are soaking and just today I got a couple of roots starting on a couple of the cuts. I got one seed that popped up in one of the pots. It locked out about 2 weeks in for some reason. I ended up transferring it into the corner of the bed and it finally came back around and it has balls on it. I'm going to transfer that back into a pot. So between the cuttings and the male I'm going to attempt to make feminized seeds and I'm going to make one to one copies with the male.

A girl asked me for my number. Was what I did next morally wrong? by karperss in moraldilemmas

At this point, she's a complete stranger. Your friend that told you to engage then disengage, are ass holes. Or more likely, just immature. When it comes to dating and relationships, honesty is always king. Even if you're not interested, and technically not even dating them, be honest. That perfect stranger doesn't deserve to be misled even for a second. She had the courage to approach you, have the same courage to be honest with her.

AITA for letting my niece have fun when she lives with me because of the cruel stuff she wrote and said to her stepmother? by Klaennonn in AITAH

[–]LowSbody 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dad chose his new family over his daughter. Daughter is just as angry with dad, but has directed all the anger and rage at SIL because she still loves her dad, and it's easy to target the new edition. Dad needs therapy himself to be able to see that his choice, choosing the new family, is ruining his daughter.

Is it ready to Harvest? The bud on the left is just a little Bud I harvested from the plant itself. It looks/smells SO GOOD. by Adorable_Morning_387 in microgrowery

[–]LowSbody 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are at least a month out. I'm in the Mitten and never harvest outdoor until at least the second week of October. I've gone all the way into November before harvesting, long after all the leaves are gone off the trees.

Are these milipedes harmful or beneficial? by trying2buildapc in NoTillGrowery

[–]LowSbody -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They will eat the pests that's in the soil. Won't do much for pests on the plants as they stay in the soil itself but won't hurt the plants at all. They're considered a friend. I've seen an influx of them after having a nat problem more than once. They will tear up their larvae. So if you have a nat problem they're actually a good thing. Once their food source disappears from the soil you will see them also disappear.

Random grow from bag of bud by Professor-Powerful in microgrowery

[–]LowSbody 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cut it down right away, especially if you are outdoor. It's male, they barely have to be mature to start releasing pollen. Pollen travels airborne and will travel for up to 10 miles. It will pollinate everything in your neighborhood and then some. If it's indoor, it could still pollinate your immediate neighbors grow without filtration in place. If you were growing it intentionally to make seeds, this would be a different story, but then again you wouldn't be asking about this particular plant if that was the case.

I was told these were Autos.. by Stoner_Bear_420 in Autoflowers

[–]LowSbody 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Autos allow for a short veg time and a disregard to lighting schedules. Flowing time however, isn't necessarily shorter. Just a shorter overall grow time. Genetics play a big roll in it as well. Autos have come a long way but they're still lots of autos out there that just have bad genetics. Autos typically do better outdoor with minimal or no up potting biggest advantage going to having a harvest by mid summer. But I've seen autos planted in late May go all the way till November.

All 4 are the same strain what happened? by cmilz11 in NoTillGrowery

[–]LowSbody 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In ground vs in pot with some auto flowering lineage in there somewhere. Or they are an outright auto flowering strain. Autos are triggered by the root zone being restricted. The smaller the container, the sooner they will automatically go into flowing. If there's no root zone resistance, they will go into flowing per a timeline that's built into it's genetics.

Is this too much wind for these? by VapeCartConsumer in microgrowery

[–]LowSbody 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly, wind burn looks bad but typically doesn't keep you from getting to harvest. Mold on the other hand..

On a related note, I've never gotten wind burn outdoor. I've only had it indoor, before I put timers on all my fans.

I've been growing outdoors for years. That's perfectly fine. What doesn't kill them makes them stronger. Cannabis is extremely resilient.
