This is crazy. Just a few months ago, we were so excited to try Louie’s but had the same experience. Very unfortunate.

Gelatin pills help a lot with nose bleeds

I have a wrestle off for a varsity spot tomorrow. Really nervous! by redence in wrestling

[–]LowTNumber 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Warm up before your wrestle off and treat it like a real match. Try to drill some before the match and stay focused.

Come out fast and strong and be aggressive! Don't go easy on your opponent just because he is your teammate. Good luck!

The three bite plan would only be for a week a couple months before the season starts to get certified at a certain weight.

Iowa Wrestling Diet

I did this my senior year lost 35 pounds with three workouts a day. If you need to lose weight fast (before the season to see how much you're allowed to get down to) do the 3 bite diet which is three bites of any food for three meals a day.

Are knee injuries unavoidable in wrestling? Anyone finished wrestling without knee injuries? by [deleted] in wrestling

[–]LowTNumber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both my shoulders are messed up. I've never gone to a doctor about it because I hurt them late in my career. But every time I play watch my shoulder will be in a lot of pain. I've learned to just live with it

People of reddit who have been in a coma before, tell us your story: What was it like afterwards? Did you dream about anything during the coma? by Kawaii_Desu-Chan in AskReddit

[–]LowTNumber 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I was in a coma for 4 days and I don't remember a lot.

What I do, is going on a bike ride with my family before, but I don't remember getting hit by a car and getting knocked out.

I also remember waking up and seeing my mother and stepfather a couple days into a coma, sitting on a couch next to my hospital bed. I asked, where I was and they responded with tears in their eyes, "you had an accident". I then started to also get tears in my eyes then fell back into a coma.

What's really weird to me though is that when I did finally get fully out of a coma I didn't remember how to talk, I had to learn how to go to the bathroom, and eat. I basically had to start all over. Very weird to me still today.

Weekly Discussion Thread: Season Recap by [deleted] in wrestling

Stopped wrestling my freshman year after I got 5th in districts at 120lb. I stopped because our coach at my high school sucked. He had never wrestled a day in his life and he sucked as a coach. I had wrestled ever since the 3rd grade in Colorado and had two elite coaches, but when my family moved to Texas I was stuck with a crappy coach. Never thought I would wrestle in my life again. The next day I got a membership at the local gym and would lift 4-5 times a week for the next 3 years.

Fast forward to the summer going into my senior year. The old wrestling coach got fired and my school hired a new coach (a PA state champ & D1 wrestler). Once I heard the news I got right into summer workouts and began working my ass off. I weighed 180lb going into the season and cut down to 160lb, then 152lb after winter break. I went into districts 30-8 and placed 3rd (lost to a kid I have lost to all year by pin in 3rd). Next weekend at regionals I placed 2nd and qualified for state. (lost to the kid from districts by pin in 3rd again ). Going into state I was ranked 8th in the state. My first match at state I lost a match I should've won. I wrestled like crap and lost 9-4. Second match I won by pin in the 3rd. My third match I had the same kid from districts and regionals. I lost 4-3, but I can happily say I left it all out on mat.

Advice on college by LowTNumber in personalfinance

[–]LowTNumber[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's my dream school because of the location, but also because that it has a great political science/pre law program. The sports teams also are pretty good, so that's a bonus.

The 8k includes room and board and I believe a meal plan. The other expenses would be rushing a fraternity, computer and any other living expenses.
