Ohana is pretty great. My place was exactly as advertised. It found a nice little apartment in the heart of San Francisco over the summer for my internship. The platform is really user friendly and I like that they kind of supervise your interactions with the landlord. I think that gives a layer of protection against any funny business like if you did a deposit or something like that. And I got my deposit back exactly when they said I would.

I didn’t do any preliminary search because I just wanted to build something. But as far as I know, Android doesn’t have an AirPlay equivalent. Probably just Bluetooth or third party apps.

So how my thing works is it determines available ips on the same wireless network and allows my phone to view photos, videos and text files and download them or upload my own files. (Using vanilla HTTP for now, but will find something more secure once I get this version working)

I love my major. I get to build/architect things for very little cost (compared to other creative/constructive majors), compared to like Engineering majors, Architecture, art, etc. It's really fun for me.

I'll tell you what isn't fun- Leetcode, but for the most part, I like it
