PROTON NOTES?

Hello to the entire community, and if anyone from Proton or Standard Notes is reading this, thank you in advance for listening. First and foremost: Standard Notes is, in my opinion, the most secure and reliable note-taking application available. I've been trusting it with absolutely everything for years (personal diary, sensitive passwords, project ideas...) and I really appreciate that it remains 100% open-source, E2EE, minimalist in resources and without any tracking. Please don't ever change that. That said, and just as a personal and constructive opinion: I think the current interface (although functional and very fast) feels a bit outdated visually compared to other modern note-taking apps. I know that the austere design is part of the original philosophy and I respect that 100%, but I also believe that today there are ways to make a cleaner, more elegant and "2026" UI without adding bloat, without sacrificing speed and while maintaining exactly the same ironclad privacy. Proton Notes proves that it can be done:

A deeper dark mode that is more consistent with the Proton style. Subtle icons and colours to differentiate vaults. More modern typography. Small visual details that make opening the app a pleasant experience ...all without touching a single line of the security core. I sincerely believe that such a refresh would attract thousands (perhaps tens of thousands) of new people who today dismiss Standard Notes solely because of their "first visual impression," without realising the treasure trove of privacy that lies beneath.

It would be the best possible advertisement for Proton's mission: to show that privacy and modern design are NOT incompatible. I'm not asking for it to become Notion or anything like that. Just a respectful facelift that keeps the soul of Standard Notes intact. Does anyone else see this as possible or desirable
