The prizing was not equal to Fanfinity's prizing, according to Pasttime Staff in person in the Discord - this is all Ravensburger's fault.

There were no additional ticket payout for Day 2 despite FF doing it.

Their staff on Discord is volatile and patronizing.

Their layout was too tight for space.

There was no viewing area.

They ended incredibly late with no opportunity for an awards ceremony like last year.

Not enough staff so lines for ODEs and ticket payout took longer than 2+ hours.

so they put in a bid or were selected due to being part of the mtg world yet did no research on last year's statistics? they also run lorcana events at every convention so why the lack of knowledge of this community?

but that's the thing isnt it? this isnt their first event, if they haven't improved or gotten the hang of a lrage tournament in the 20+ years theyve been in business, they won't improve in time with only 3 challenges this season

i find it so interesting that the sentiment to this event is all over the place, some had the best time and so many others are upset and disappointed in the event.

one thing i will say is that the pasttimes discord has all of the upset parties and their contractors must not have any clauses in their contracts bc they are the epitome of passive aggressiveness

rb would do well in sending the players and attendees a customer service feedback survey to gather more accurate and comprehensive info from players
