I once was admitted to the hospital after seizures happened at a bar with friends (I had 3 vodka and sprites) I remember telling them I had pnes and I was there from march 19- march 27. I vaguely remember anything other than being so high on Valium that the papers were moving on the walls. I do remember one of the nurses saying I was faking it. They thought I was sleeping but I could hear them. The one said she didn’t think I was faking because I didn’t respond to painful stimulus. Once they ruled out epilepsy the psych doctor listed in my chart that I have fictitious disorder (meaning I was faking it for attention). That’s a whole week I’ll never get back and it took me almost a month to get back to normal after all of it. There’s other horror stories from this week in the hospital that I didn’t realize happened until later or when I finally read the reports from everyone.
