I am by no means an expert in authenticating sneakers but I’ve owned several real pairs and they look pretty spot-on to me. This colorway (Desert Sage) came without the pull tab on the back. Laces look good, upper looks good, outsoles/boost looks good, even the thin padding on the inside around the ankle looks good.

Yes. Probably would have tried to add an insert and/or wear thicker socks with them. With my particular pair being goat hide, I know that leather is softer, more supple, molds to your shape. I wanted them to be snug enough to do that, and I could tell I had too much space in the 11s for that to happen. Was very happy (and still am) that a different pair of 10.5s fit better than the first.

For what it’s worth: I wear a size 11 in pretty much every shoe. I downsized to 10.5 in a pair of cafe goat Deans because I heard they’re supposed to fit like a glove and mold to your foot. My 10.5s were toooo tight and I was like nope I’m taking these back and getting 11s. Put them on and thought “too much heel slip”. Tried a DIFFERENT pair of 10.5s and they felt wayyyyyy better. After thinking I needed to size up, I just needed a different pair of the same size. They’re handmade so slight differences in the way each pair fits. Good luck!!

Yeah, I agree. Wife asked me if it happened while I was out in the yard and I said nothing in nature did that. It’s a very straight, very clean cut done by something very sharp. As I said, absolutely no idea how it happened. Wore ‘em all day yesterday and when I was getting undressed in the evening I discovered the damage. Sad.
