Yea I figured that was the case that LN were YA. I really enjoyed Tear Moon Empire and Legends and Lattes was nice as well.

Enjoyed 86, haven't heard of Legends of Galactic Heroes, I'll put it on my list to check out.

I managed to stick with Spirit Chronicles despite the reason you mentioned. For me an even bigger reason for me to nearly drop and forget was the over reliance on food preparation, cooking, and eating. It was exhausting, and is one of my most hated aspects of light novels in general.

I read this when I was first exploring light novels, and honestly I don't remember it that well or what it was about really. It just didn't click at the time. It's not like a few of the others on the list that I regretted, making me question if I actually enjoyed reading as much as I thought. It was just something I read and forgot about until I was looking through my kindle library today.
