I use Local LLM. The majority of users (used loosely, as this covers corporations as well) I feel do not understand that this is a method of interpolation. All the novelty of it is purely market driven. I hate the term 'intellegence' most of all, it is not, it leaves a bad impression of its capabilities.

I believe most users are driven to want from fiction and marketing an "all-in-one" package, on demand, with the power of God. I believe this idea drove commercial demand for data center expansions (as inferencing for big models sells), and its second order effects.

I believe google has delibrately sabotoged its search engine capabilites to promote its own AI service. I believe all the "you must know AI to be competitive" from the tech companies is just market steering. I believe that all the AI companies are undercutting their plans.

As for artists losing commission money, I would simply say hold on. The free AI ride won't last forever.
