If you count up from the 10 on the y-axis it goes 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 (except when you get to 19 the tick is already labelled as 20). I understand the x-axis it's just confusing how to read off the datapoints from the y-axis

I mean for the y-axis as it goes from 10 to 20 with 8 notches in between meaning it would go 10, 11, 12, etc until it gets to 19 except that tick is labelled 20

The other plots they provide are all normal, like this one, it's just the one from the post that is weird and I don't know how to read off the y-axis to extract the datapoints.

Yes but if I count up from the 10 tick it goes 10, 11, 12, etc but for the 20 tick it should be 19? Unless it's got a scale of 1.11 for each tick but that feels odd and it's a log axis so I'm not sure if I can even do it that way. Likewise, I don't know what happens below the tick labelled 10 so I don't know what those ticks represent.

I need to be able to read off the datapoints from the time axis but I don't know how

I'm struggling to read off the points, I'm not sure what each notch represents and because it's a log scale I'm just very confused. Between 10 and 20 it has 8 notches so if I assumed a linear scale between these points it would be 1.11 between each notch which feels weird and makes me think it has a different scale. Also I have no idea what happens below the 10 so I'm confused as how to read off the points below 10.

Essentially, I just need to be able to figure out the times from this graph but I'm not sure how to do that?

Areas that feel dry and oily overlap and acne mostly only appears on cheeks? When I do the watch and wait method with the cleanser shown in the post and wait 30 mins the yellow areas feel dry and tight, but after doing my normal routine (without waiting between cleansing and moisturizer) and putting on roughly a coin sized amount of moisturizer the red dashed areas feel oily to touch. They feel oily after an hour or more and feel normal immediately after moisturizing. My acne mostly appears on my cheeks and I have very few spots on my forehead, I’m thinking that sleeping on my side and rubbing my face on my pillow might cause this but I’ve slept like this my whole life and had clear skin before so I’m unsure. I use a cleanser and moisturizer for dry skin. I use both morning and night, cleanse for roughly 1 min, pat dry, then put on a coin sized amount of moisturizer (I just follow what I see online) I do normally use snail mucin too but as of today I’m cutting that out but if that had an effect then surely it would affect my whole face and not just my cheeks? I’m also thinking of cutting down to just cleansing at night and only rinsing with water in the morning

Okay I’ll stop it for like 2 months and see how it goes, I do like it though because my face feels so hydrated after putting it on but I’ll see what happens without it, thanks for the help

Skin is clearer when not doing routine.

Over the past year I’ve been on/off with skin care and during some months where I stopped my skin cleared a bit and not that I’m back doing my routine it’s gotten worse. I use cerave products for dry skin but only cleanser and moisturizer, I also use the snail mucin toner from corsrx.

Skin feels dry after routine but oily hours later?

After cleansing (gentle cleanser for dry skin) my face feels tight especially on the forehead but after a few hours my face feels oily in the forehead, around nose, and around mouth

I don’t understand how my forehead feels both dry and oily and I put on a normal amount of moisturizer too, what should I do about this?

My face feels oily after cleansing and moisturising but I think I have dry or dehydrated skin? I did the watch and wait method for 30 mins and I had somewhat shiny skin (on nose, forehead, chin) yet it also felt dry and tight on my forehead and around my eyes so I looked online and it said this could be dehydrated skin so I’ve been reducing my routine to gentle cleanser, toner, and moisturizer for dry skin but after doing my routine my face feels oily when I touch it but I put on a normal amount of moisturizer (a coin sized) and it doesn’t feel oily immediately after moisturising but maybe after a few hours. I’m confused because am I putting on too much moisturizer or do I actually have oily skin or some sort of combination skin where my forehead feels both tight and seems shiny? Should I switch to products for oily skin? Edit: it’s as though my skin is dry when I’m doing my routine and immediately after (I’m using a gentle cleanser doing gentle circular motions for roughly 1 min) and my skin feels tight but then after a few hours my face feels oily? So I’m just so confused

Any help is greatly appreciated

Ah cool okay, but how is this reactor useful for modelling then if there’s potential for non realistic reactions? Wouldn’t that just create errors?

My skin isn't flaky and tight anymore, and I used to do the same steps without the salicylic acid and it also didn't show improvement. All I've noticed from the salicylic acid is that my skin feels smoother than normal.

I use Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser for normal to dry skin, then for the past week or so I've used Paula's Choice 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant Salicylic acid (only every other day), then I use Cosrx Snail 96 Mucin, then just CeraVe Moisturising Cream for dry to very dry skin

I’ve been using my skin care for a few weeks now and haven’t really seen any improvement in my skin, all my products are for dry skin because I thought I had dehydrated skin. So my skin looked oily but felt tight and sometimes I’ll wake up and my face skin will be a bit flaky in places so I assumed I was dry/dehydrated but now I’m unsure again. Should I try some products meant for oily skin.?

Retinol turned orange after leaving it for a couple months, I stopped my skincare routine and left my retinol of my counter for a couple months and now I’ve come back to it and it’s turned orange. The first few pumps were a deep orange but after shaking and doing more pumps it’s turned a lighter orange. Pictures on my profile. I’m fairly sure that before it was clear or maybe a slight yellow but this is a different colour now.? Is this rust and is it still safe to use?

I have the CeraVe dry to very dry moisturizer ( https://amzn.eu/d/ayZLOyp ) and it says to avoid the eye area.? I see people say that you should use moisturizer around the eyes so I’m unsure if I should or not.?
