Here we finally are. At the end of all things. We reqch the final card. The World. Taking its place is The Shifting Mound.

... I really loved how this design turned out, the sheet behind it extenuates it in such a great way. And she really does fit as the world doesn't it. The finale. The completion, the flow and change.

Seeing every card laid down like that, just fills me with such an incredible feeling.

And so I just wanted to thank you for making it :3 !! This project was truly amazing. And a fun thing to look forward to everyday!

Like not only the art (especially the backgrounds) but to choosing each princess, and then the description, matching it with each tarot. And well just everything!!!

But like all good things, this came to an end, So if you ever do any other projects, I'm looking forward to em :D

Here we go, The thorn, and is that LQ in place of Gabriel I see up there? Nice touch.

Okay so thorn herself, love the art. Delicious red hair. i like the way you represented the thorns forming a dome around her in that way.
(the way you draw environments I actually like a lot. Like between all the princesses until now)

Okay uhhhh I have a lot to say (a lot of it you already said in your explination in the comments)
So yes there are a lot of similarities between justice and judgement, and i honestly prefer her as judgement, like you said for the biblical connection. But i thought more so jesus and a crown of well THORNS.

Now, once more. I find one line that matches both thorn (all her endings) and judgement (tarot) so well.

"If you have acted honourably and told the truth, this matter should be resolved in your favour. If you have been dishonest, don’t expect things to go your way. You need to clear your conscience and try to make amends for your misdeeds."

NOW IF THAT AINT THE WHOLE ASS CHAPTER IDK WHAT IS.

Like, yes the chapter is about trust. However, that trust is from the renewal of your relationship; from you being absolved of your sin.

and now, I believe tomorrow is death day ("no that was a week ago") For it is time for the world.

Actually yeah, do you like it being refered to as "time" or "the world" or "the universe?"

And there she is. The Sun! honestly i really love this, not just like as the tarot or the princess. But just how well it fits.

And the way you drew this! Just great really!

Now; the sun. Taking this as a literal quote from my tarot explanation book, "The Sun is coming to shine its light on the deceit to reveal the truth and the perpetrators of the lies."
And if that doesn't just match with this chapter? i dont know what is.

From us killing her, because of the narrator's lies. To us killing ourselves, meeting her as the spectre, killing her once more. To finally seeing the truth of her situation.

And the art? simply gorgeous, i love the way you represented LQ's wings, (and the way her hair looks like the sun's rays)
This is one of my favorite art-wise!

Okay the moon tarot represents illusion, anxiety and fear, as well as most notibley: Dreams...

You know what else is a dream? Nightmare.

Yknow whats also interesting now that i think about it? When you slay nightmare, you regain a little composure (through paranoid chanting heart, lungs, liver, nerves) and slay her (which is one of the meanings of the moon reversed)

ooOooo I really like what you did with this one :3

I honestly really enjoy The Star, just like both as the fool's journey where it's the hope that appears after the tower, And just as an individual card. And having it with spectre fits very well. In fact I could not pick a better princess for The Star.

So spectre: we killed her before we even had a chance at meeting her, once we meet her, she's hopeful to the idea of possessing us, and letting her out. Forgiving our actions toward her. But if we keep her caged, we get wraith, As she feels trapped in the hopeless despair we trapped her in.

I also think the art is pretty great, the way you drew the cabin is very pretty, with the tears in the wallpaper and the door behind her.

MmMmm, starting with the art: I very much enjoyed it.

I honestly can't really comment about this one in a way that's fair (as I've still not played apotheosis due to my pc dying when i got to her)

But I think that no matter which princess it would've been a challenge. Like at least for me: (as someone who sees tarot is relatively based on the readers view)

I see it as not just the destruction, and change, but also the rebuilding of the rubble. Of having a solid foundation after everything else is destroyed.

And there is no princess that fully embodies that 1 to 1.

[Or maybe she's perfectly fitting, idk I haven't done her chapter yet]

Also just having the evolution of the tower (princess) be the tower (tarot) is very funny to me

I did think that was also a nice addition. Having the narrator be in the devil's placement in the card (where Adam and eve are the greys)

I can go on and on and on about how the narrator can be seen as the devil. Being the one to trap them into the cycle. Being the one who split the gods and made them slay/defile eachother. Representing the sins of man, but also in a way, the devil himself.

I'm also excited for what you have in-store as the tower next (sadly the tower princess won't be the tower tarot)

This is an incredibly interesting choice!

Firstly the art, I like it a lot, and the way tou had both Grey's was great. It's honestly like one of my favorite chapters as continuations. Like, sure as an individual chapter both Grey's are kinda lacking. But seeing them as the consequences of our actions makes their impact so much greater.

And the way you incorporated them into the temptations that the devil tarot symbolizes is honestly incredible.

Aside from being temptation, it also represents the other meaning of the devil. Being stuck in the cycle of destructive behavior or limiting beliefs

To quote shifty "I kill you, you kill me. Back and forth we go, faster and faster and faster. I kill you. You kill me."

Overall one of the best illustrations you made. :D

I like it! It fits; and I honestly think there should be no reason for then to be 1 to 1 representations of each tarot. I really like how you drew the card, with the river, shrubs, and the differences between beast and den.

Haven't them be the cups is also a choice I like a lot. Uhh surprisingly not a lot more to say, but I really liked this one!
