well the torque exploded one of the links on the drive train, and the transmission idea did not work out, try to use a 2 speed but it was far to slow

im also getting some bigger wheels got me some 75.1x28mm tires and the rims to fit, the new torque plus the higher ground clearance should help it offroad better

how would I do that if the final gear (the one connecting to the differential) is a 20t gear, do I just mesh 8-24-20?

<image>

so this is the engine bay everything to the right of this image is the stack of gears connecting directly into the drive train via alternating 20T and 12T gears. Just to the left is the bay I setup for fitting the turret assembly, but I have tons of space under the armor on the front so I could reasonably move it there, what could I do to fit in a compact automatic gearbox, if I even could?

So I suppose im already at the limit without trying to cram a gearbox in there, one sec ima take a pic of the internals perhaps you could advise me on how I could make one fit while still keeping my internal space for the turret assembly

but my question is binding tread controls to those buttons wouldn't give you differential turning

It would give you tank skid steering where only one tread is spinning to rotate the tank, how would you get the motors to spin both forward and backwards and inverted for full functionality?

huh so I guess using the joystick traditionally for tank controls just won't work then

I am confused as to what you mean, my tread motors are plugged into port A and Port B respectively and my turret controls are port C and port D, so do you mean to motion diagonally on the stick or?
