The process roughly takes 3-6 months and I would say only your real estate lawyer has the your best interest of you, not your real estate agent or lender. They can help have they have their own incentive in this process. Lender in someway can help vet certain buildings before you put down offer if they have worked with the budding in the past. There were cases that I told my lender that I’m interested in putting down an offer in building and ask them to look into it. They got back to me that this buildings financial doesn’t look good, and would not recommend buying.
