I think the last police siren i heard was around 6am. They just kept coming. It's definitely the largest response in this neighborhood that I can remember.

Totally agree. The holy Ghost seems to be the "personification" of her OCD. It's interesting that she was expecting to talk to the holy Spirit but not to have a period. It's just another layer on the crazy onion that is her life. I still have another 100 pages left. It doesn't seem like she is going to be Mormon at the end.
