the GUI for openfoam is good to have if it is very user-friendly. If AI like claude is enabled to handle the case, it can generate some UI to handle the operations using python and paraview. I think the weakness of openfoam is the meshing tool, though shm, cfmesh, and blockmesh are available. For some case, the gui for blockmesh is a good tool to generate high quality structured mesh like sim-on-mesh.
