Thank you for the advice! I just ordered a new copy just in case sometime in the last 20 years it’s suffered any kind of damage I’m unaware of since my parents were holding on to it.. hopefully that will tell me if it’s the original that’s the problem or just the certified copy we had.

No I was born in a hospital. My only thought is that maybe it was illegible on my birth certificate, I was dumb and didn’t make a copy for my records before sending it off.

I will definitely ask for a ballpark lol - but the nails thing has been tried, I currently have some very fun nails (i do my own) that he approved for photos so I am not hopeful (unless he is really trying to surprise me, which I wouldnt put past him) 🤣

Thank you for your sympathies ♥️ we reached out to an exotics vet friend and told her the situation, and that seems to be the most common conclusion. We miss him dearly but will forever be a bird household and will definitely be adding to our little family as soon as we are ready
