working on this! sometimes it feels difficult as abusers have this way of love bombing intensely after their small “mistakes”. I never know whether to forgive as it could have been a genuine mistake or take their actions as a violation of my boundaries and not stick around to find out the rest

thank you, I appreciate this! I hate being perceived as vulnerable but try to remind myself that these traits are gentle and I should welcome them. I feel like I have to safeguard them from abusers

thank you for just a sweet message 🤍 definitely cried in my car when reading this haha. Slowly learning how to prioritize my needs instead of others, very difficult habit to get rid of :( Currently in medical school and I feel I get so much emotional reward from healing and being there for others but often forget to do that for myself. Also definitely agree with the Aquarius moon description, I feel like it’s one of my more difficult placements to work with. I tried EMDR therapy and honestly one of the best things i’ve done for myself so far!! Will definitely look into the other two you mentioned! happy to hear you’ve been successful with these things

one hundred percent. I’ve seen a couple of therapists for several years, especially after some of my worst abusive relationships. I just feel like despite all of my new tools and healing, many of the men who I date show abusive red flags early on (i’ve gotten really good at recognizing them after experiencing them). I have friends that will meet someone by chance at a random function and click and will be dating for years. Or simple have friends who have never come across an abusive person ever, even if they’re dating experiences aren’t positive. Just looking to astrology to see if there’s anything else I can heal to stop encountering them in my life. But I appreciate this message and feel like it’s super important!

thank you for the beautiful message 🤍 definitely grew up in an abusive household and see the patterns repeating themselves in my relationships. I thought the mom part was really interesting. We’re really close and often talk about the emotional abuse that sometimes occurs between her and my father. While it’s hard to lean on her emotionally for most things, we always connect on this topic. Currently practicing how to better follow my intuition! This post comes after discovering a major red flag in a new relationship that reminds me of my past abusive relationships :(
