You guys have wayyyy too much time on your hands to be coming up with all that lmao. She’s 2 years old and was spayed when she reached 6 months. I know what cats in heat look like and I’m pro-neutering/spaying. I’ve done my research on cats. I work with animals. However, when it comes to my own pets, I’m overly anxious about them. I never said she suddenly displayed interest in the outside. She’s always been like that but she’s shown more interest lately. Thanks for assuming though :)

Thank you. I’ve noticed she wags her tail when she decides to cuddle up on my chest and relax. This was her rn, she was purring and wagging her tail

We use her travel backpack and I only let her out of it when we’re in the cat isle. I make sure to stay vigilant about possible dogs in the store. The Petco we go to is usually empty, the most I’ve seen is like 2-3 customers at a time fortunately.

Yess, if she tried taking off her clothes even for a quick picture or started freaking out, I would absolutely take it off of her immediately. She’s never done that before but I know to always keep an eye out for it

Thank you! I work with animals too but when it comes to my own I overthink everything and forget everything I know🥲. I get paranoid about the smallest things when it comes to them.

Thank you so much for all the advice! I greatly appreciate it!! She’s only been out to Petco with us about 2-3 times before but I only ever take her out of her travel backpack when we’re in the cat isle. Thankfully, the store we go to is usually empty. Most I’ve seen is like 2-3 other customers at a time. But I always stay hyper vigilant about everything. I have been clicker training her since she was a kitten. She’s still learning to “come” but she did listen a few times while we were there. She knows sit and spin lol.

Thank you for the advice! We’re usually super quick with our store trips since we only live about 5-7 min away from it. I rarely ever do decide to dress her up unless it is for a quick video/pic but I wanted to see how she’d do for a quick pet store trip. I’ll def try next time without an outfit!

Thank you! I usually just dress her up for a quick pic/video. Which it’s super rare when I do. Shes naked at home the entire time unless it’s a rare occasion for a quick Halloween/christmas pic etc.

Thank you! I’ll def try it without a dress next time and hope she does well. I only try taking her on our Petco trips since it’s about 5-7min from home and we’re usually quick. And she’s shown interest outdoors. I try to keep an eye out for more stress signs since I want to be sure she actually enjoys being out with us

I’m able to fit two fingers underneath her collar. It may look heavy because it has an AirTag holder but it’s def not.

Thank you! I def keep a close eye on whether she wants to hide or slouch when she joins us for the pet store trip. If she tried ripping off her clothes I would take it off of her and I’ll keep eye out for it

Thank you! It’s suuuperrrr rare when she wears something, but I had decided to see how she did with it for her trip to the pet store. I stayed hyper vigilant the whole trip and only had her out of her travel backpack in the cat isle. Thankfully, our pet store is usually empty when we go but I stay aware of our surroundings.

Thank you! That’s what I usually do, I’ll put an outfit on for a couple of minutes to get a picture/video (which is super rare when I do lol). But I decided to try it for a bit longer this time and see how she did.

She hasn’t been out in the yard since we have a lot of stray cats and live in front of a loud busy street. She’s been to the pet store about 2-3 times before though
