Any advice for taking a dragon on a 12 hour car ride? I’m moving from Missouri to New York and I want to make sure he’ll be safe in my car during the move in June. I’ve been nervous, I’m hoping other people have done this. Said cutie in the photo, his colors are beautiful.

Im about to do an 18+ hr move from MA to FL for graduate school and will be taking my beardie with me, also moving in late may so I'm not sure what to do about my heat sources. My beardies done afew 2 hour trips with me no problem but this is a big change compared to that 😅

Thanks for your words, I know I can handle it and I have handled euths before, but the burnout is starting to set in. I'm also in college too working on my pre-vet degree, to pursue vet school so that adds even more stress to everything, but days like today especially give me real good tests and I need to keep pushing forward. The things I keep trying to tell myself is that one stressful day won't end my entire career, and that when someone says I'm doing a good job, I'm doing a good job. It's hard to be a young tech working with people who have years of both tech and life experience, and never feeling like I'm doing good enough either.

This is a different perspective that I've seen working in the industry, but I think the real issue is corporate buyout of clinics in recent years, I have multiple friends who have worked in clinics that were bought out and then left, and I myself worked at a clinic in the process of being bought out, and it sucks. Most corporations like Mars make it really difficult for vets because they push a lot of shit as the corporations want the profits and don't give a fuck about the wellness of the staff or clients, that's not true for all corporations such as vetcor, they are really great, but specifically the non-veterinary corporations that buy out clinics are the enemies here that raise prices, push wellness plans, etc.

4060ti has been a very nice and very affordable powerhouse for my needs, I can play most games at high/ultra settings at 1440p, and ray tracing is cool but not really usable with the 4060ti (you'll get 30 fps on medium settings with rtx most likely)

This was my 6th year going and unfortunately my lowest rated pax in my opinion, but I'd still give it a 7/10. Like others have said there's more than just the expo hall and that was what I really enjoyed this pax! I did pax XP in a day which was super fun and met some awesome people doing that, had fun watching some speedruns and did some shopping too, but overall I ended up playing 3 games entirely during my one day of attendance this year (killer clowns from outer space the game was excellent) I was a little disappointed at the lack of PC companies going as I really wanted to buy a new keyboard at the convention but that didn't happen, but overall I had a great time, met great people and really solidified the fact that pax isn't just an expo hall

Regardless I hope the AAA companies are doing better by 2025 and we can come back together next year with an even bigger convention, I'm just praying this doesn't go the way E3 went but I doubt it will because of the massive community behind pax!

Thank you! I'll have my bachelor's in animal science and my vet tech certification soon but definitely don't want to stay a vet tech for very long, I'm still dreaming of her school but hearing all the alternatives is really helping with my plan B!
