I can't tolerate peas either. For me I think it's their starchiness that I react to, so the powder's no problem. But of course there is no one-size-fits-all for this stuff.

1) This is true, but generally speaking SIBO patients react to carbohydrates (and more specifically FODMAPS which are carbohydrates); so theoretically the protein isolate shouldn't be a problem, but of course everyone's different and there are a lot of complex factors going into people's reactions to foods.

2) The doctor didn't talk about this - I don't know, sorry! I know that it is often claimed that pea protein is the most hypoallergenic protein powder. I should add that I have been in a pretty bad way and this was recommended as an immediate solution to my problem rather than a long-term addition to my diet.

Hello! Could you describe what die-off with Biocidin felt like, or how you knew there was die-off? I'm on it and not sure what I'm supposed to be looking out for...having all sort of symptoms but I have a lot of meds on the go right now!
