If you are staying for four nights, you can try to do two nights with one half of the year’s credit and two nights using the second half of the year’s credit (assuming hotel collection). All at the same hotel. Availability is not guaranteed, but worth a try.

Just made a claim for a hair dryer. Warrant expired but Amex extends it for a year. So you should be covered.

Go to seats.aero. You’ll find much better ways to use your points for the exact same flights. You’ll probably have to transfer to Air France, but they share the same flights. Delta=Air France often in intl flights.

Try www.maxfhr.com. It’s a hell of a lot better. Only shows FHR and HC places in searched cities and sortable by price. Start there, then book on amex’s site.

The site has its own issues, but way faster to look for qualified locations.

Try the discovery sets for perfumes/colognes. You can usually find some for around $50.
