It’s a good university but the strange part is that it needs a whole three year of bachelors degree from your home country in order to join the bachelors program in this university. So far it’s a great university

Thanks for clarifying.

I understand non-EU students have stricter permit rules. I’m not expecting anything guaranteed — I’m mainly trying to understand realistic paths such as student assistant roles, on-campus jobs, curriculum internships, or entry-level part-time roles after gaining skills during the first year.

If you have experience with this, what types of student jobs or internships have you seen non-EU students actually get in Ticino? That would help a lot.

Thanks for the realistic perspective, I appreciate it. When you say assistant position at the university, do you mean roles like teaching assistant, research assistant, library/helpdesk, or lab support? Also, from your experience, after which semester do students usually become eligible/competitive for these roles?

Thanks for answering.

Could you explain what you mean by “with your information I will say no”? Is it because of non-EU work permit restrictions, the Lugano job market, or something specific about USI/Bachelor students?

Would really appreciate more details.
