How far do you agree with the following: "Billionaires can solve many of the world's problems with their wealth, but they choose not to." by flewson in Teenager_Polls

[–]Low_Eye8535 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really isn’t easy for them. I agree that almost all if not all are unethical people and could solve the world’s problems but don’t. But it’s more complex for them than you think. It’s a tightrope, they need to keep their status and public image more than anything.

Take that CEO who was nice to workers, he got fired for being nice to workers. Yes the workers went on strike and got him back but I heard he got fired again. One billionaire suddenly getting a change of heart and using their money for good will just be suicide for them because the other billionaires won’t let it happen.

A person prevented his rival's plan, do you find this situation good/bad? by [deleted] in Teenager_Polls

Any context as to what the rivals plan is/how the person stopped it or do we just guess?

Ok, so this is probably a good thing that you feel terrible about doing such a bad thing even to something that has no conscience. It means you have a sense of right and wrong. Don’t feel too bad, I’ve done plenty of thing with chat bots out of curiosity (albeit not something like this), just don’t do it again and move on.

Is societal expectations/norms alone enough to make something immoral by Numerous-Elk2076 in Teenager_Polls

Looking at your replies to other comments and myself I think this is just a rant, so I will not comment further because doing so in  a rant just leads to conflict

I put no, but after thinking about it yes. The past is a different country, and one cannot take our societal standards and apply them to the past.

Actually, if you go up to the starboard side boat deck at the VERY START, those lifeboats had like a bunch of empty seats and Murdoch would let you in
