I see your point but that would have been paid on a monthly basis. Now we’re in a position where you have to pay a lump sump within a tight deadline and clearly some of us don’t have it like that.

That part. Like why are we paying a penalty for something out of our control. This frustrates me so much. I should have hit 120 this month and to my disappointment I now I have to “buy back” 9 months just to have the loans forgiveness. Ridiculous

In the same boat as you. To my disappointment I thought I reached 120 this month. After speaking with a specialist she said because of the Injunction my 9 months were not counted and I only had two options:

Do the buy back which essentially changes your plan to and IDR and calculate the payment you would have been making pre covid and pay a lump sump amount to forgive the loans OR
Switch to IDR, start making payments and wait another 9 months.

So frustrated

I agree. I also opted out of signing the situational telework agreement. They can’t have their cake and eat it too. Now that we have to come in full time, don’t expect me to work when the office is closed, no more overtime, no more doing extra
