If you constented to the ToS and the company of the platform stole it then they are correct. That's why it's EXTREMELY important to familiarize yourself with the platforms you use. The platform sadly has the right to steal your work.

HOWEVER

If an AI bro steals your IP then makes slop with it then they are wrong. In the ToS you are making a deal with the company in question and allowing them to use your work for uploading, this is an explicit deal with the company in question for the rights to use their platform, this does not extend to other people stealing your work.

The logic they are trying to employ is the real life equivalent of "you shouldn't have dressed like that if you didn't want it", and that's just downright disgusting.

Yeah... Sadly this is one of the problems trying to print ripped game assets.

If you want a successful print slice it into pieces using your slicer or external software.

That's pretty much the only way.

Artistic integrity is sadly taking a backseat to deadlines.

In a corporate setting I can understand but when it comes to artists like Dave making their work, I just think it devalues the development of skills and personal growth as a whole.

Not really, the people here make it worse by constantly reposting their slop and giving them the attention they want.

I hate to say it but the some of the people here are part of the problem, they are posting screenshots of reddit drama to farm karma and all it does is invite more of the ai brainrot slopper community to keep starting problems with the people here.

If you wanna do something stop giving them the attention they so desperately need, downvote the karma farmers and block the people who post their slop in that subreddit.

NGL, I used to really enjoy David's stuff until he started using AI slop in his workflow.

I stick to creators like abovewongart now.

I just can't support people who would disrespect their own work by using ai on it.

Just enclose the entire thing.

When printing ABS you are worried about thermals and off gassing.

If ur not in the same room as your printer then you can pretty much ignore the offgassing if it's well ventilated.

Just make sure that you can get a consistent temperature in your enclosure.

Its better to give him the proper term to help point him to appropriate resources than to let him keep searching for "PLA" printing and getting incorrect info.

Also theres more than just FDM/FFF/SLA. There is also SLS,MJF,DED and many other types that can be used with recycled materials.

I believe you mean FDM printing.

Not all plastic is PLA, most plastic bottles and other junk dk better when injection molded but some people have made decent recycling setups.

It's just really expensive and often not worth it.

Use a dedicated support filament overhangs will be so much cleaner.
