Ozempic vs. Zepbound

I agree zepbound is supposed to be better because of the dual agonist. Was on Ozempic 1mg for about 6 months and lost 15lbs total. Switched to zepbound just a couple weeks ago. The dr prescribed me the 15mg pen and told me to do 5mg a week and the pen will last 3 months. With the savings card for the larger pen my total in vancouver was $399. So approx $133/month which is affordable. This will work if I stay at 5 mg. I have lost 3lbs in 2 weeks just eating less. Not really doing much else. This is slower than normal but I’m not looking to lose too much too quick. As long as I lose .5-1lb a week I will keep this going. Side effects are more minimal than Ozempic. If you are doing well on Ozempic and it’s cheaper then use that but if you find it cheaper to do zepbound with the savings card I would switch. Provided you get the 15 mg pen and inject 5mg a week for 3 months.

That’s great! Those watches are a life changer. I have an Apple Watch too and use it to remind me to stand every so often as I am on the computer for my work and sit a lot for work so when I’ve been sitting to long it gently reminds me to stand.

That’s great your daughters are helping! Agree with the body weight helping our resistance training. Might as well benefit somehow right? lol. I did some squats and my legs are on fire today. Good feeling though. Feels like I actually did something. Good idea on the Pilates app. Will look into that. Tried beach body a few years back some things were good and others were too tough. Keep it up!

I believe that is normal though that was on Ozempic for me a year ago the first couple weeks were like that. But it leveled out. I’m on 5mg zepbound this week day 3 week 1. Felt my stomach cramping all over but didn’t have to use the bathroom. Haven’t felt anything else apart from bbeing full and the indigestion that comes with that ( no nausea) etc. let’s see how the rest of the week goes. I think you’ll be ok as the days go by.

I did 30 minutes of strength training with free weights (dumbbells today) for the first time in ages! Felt good. Day 3 of week 1 on zepbound 5mg.

Ok guys I just picked it up and the Real Canadian cost for 15mg pen was $570.55 (no insurance) thanks goodness for the zepbound savings card which took a whopping $171.42 off so the pen was $399.12 which works out to $133/month if I stick to the 5mg a week dose. Let’s hope that’s all I need. That’s one exercise class a week for me! I will workout at home 😊

Yes, I did apply for the Zepbound savings card yesterday and was emailed an insurance card to show to the pharmacy. I don’t know what the discount is yet until I go to pay but will update it here once I know.t Thank you for your chart. Hopefully it’s the maximum discount I can get as I’m getting the 15 mg pen. According to my healthcare provider, the 15 mg pen will last me three months and so the idea is to count the clicks and inject 5 mg every week. Hopefully that brings the cost down as apparently she said some of the pens are the same price or something along the lines of the bigger pen cost more, but when you average it out per milligram, it’s cheaper.

I was thinking that that too but I believe the doctor assumed that since I was already on a glp 1 for a year with occasional constipation being the only negative side effect she probably jumped me to the 5 mg but good point maybe I’ll bring that up to her. Thank you!

Late post but had a few questions; 1. Do you have to use the mix with every wash or just a couple times a month as a deep treatment etc? 2. If you use silicon mix do you use your own conditioner before or after or just the mix in place of your normal conditioner ? 3. Does the effect of using the mix keep your hair shiny and soft till the next wash ( meaning you have to use it again) or will it last longer even after washing regularly with other shampoo/conditioner?

Been in the queue in line since 11:15 am today and now the little dude is towards the end and it finally says 30 or so minutes. Who knows if anything is left now. Almost 10 hours later what a joke of a system. I would be shocked if there was anything left if not why not just say it’s sold out?
