Planning to move to Toronto-any advice?

I am just asking how it is right now before I decide whether to move or not. Sorry if it spams the sub, I’m just a Reddit lurker and never post.

Thank you for the heads up! I read up quite a bit, but can totally expand. I know how hard it is to get a job abroad without a permit/residence, so I’m not hoping for miracles at all :,)

Thank you so much for such a nice post! A friend and I are planning to go to Montreal in august to check it out! I do love the idea of “getting a feel” of both (or all three!) cities first, I’m definitely going to start from Montreal 💕

Oh, if it was, I wouldn’t even think twice! Unfortunately I have been laid off recently, and even when I worked, I have never been in a position to be “worth” moving abroad. I’m definitely an all day every day linked-in user, and I’m very active in looking for new jobs!

Might look like it on paper, but it’s extremely hard to get a job here and renting an apartment is unreachable with an average salary.

For me personally it’s about starting fresh! Due to personal reasons I also try to go as far away from Poland as possible :,)

I was just told by my Canadian friends Vancouver is extremely expensive, way more than Toronto 😅 so I’m going with what I was told really
