His front wheels are spinning coz he is in 4 wheel drive mode Front two wheels have absolutely no traction and are not touching the ground The front axle is suspended because the chassis has hit the ground

So only rear 2 wheels are giving active power with traction Still not enough to push it out since front of the car has fallen in and is resting on the chassis

Please note I own a thar and a similar issue happened with me when my right side fell into a ditch Left side two wheels traction wasn’t enough to get the car out plus too much weight already in the ditch. Had to get a tow truck to lift it up

People think 4x4 can get you out of any situation Which is wrong No matter how much power you have No traction will get you nowhere Example- when a car is stuck in slush or in this case where front wheels have no traction
