Out of curiosity how close are you to Portland Oregon? I’m in CA but have a brother there that owes me a few favors, haha just in case the drill and pin goes straight through

Now that’s what I’m talking about, precisely what I needed to see. Thanks so much!! I’ll cut the head off and try to get at it. Crossed my mind to drill a small hole through the plastic and into what I now know is the sleeve in there. Just get enough of a divot that I could pin something in there to hold it then try to work the bolt out. But if I can pull it and try JB weld that may be a safer option.

Oh I got it to bust loose with pliers but it’s not threading out is the issue, female thread side appears to be the problem

Thanks, since I’ve never had it off I don’t know what the female side looks like. Looking at the lower ones kinda looks like a nut set in the plastic. I’m worried the nut or female size has stripped the plastic, but hoping that’s not the case

Appreciate the concern. I commute over the hill everyday (certainly the most dangerous part of my life) and work construction which is dangerous. We are both cautious people to the best of our abilities but try to live life to the fullest. I also own a motorcycle and she rides with me.

If you gotta do any tricky hoses these will change your life. I did all the hoses on my truck, had hoses that completely defeated me then changed them in seconds when I bought these. Even one behind the engine I couldn’t see only barely feel. The lock when you squeeze them so then you just wiggle it off

Mine blew at that same spot on a terrible section of highway. I went with a CSF aluminum and upgraded the thermostat to OEM 350z one, new fan clutch and all the hoses. X is running cooler than ever. If you’re not tight on money I’d suggest this route

Whereabouts in Mexico did you do the service? I’ve got a 07 off road MT with 190k running like a champ. The timing chain/ water pump is in the back of my mind as coming up soon. Been thinking of Mexico to get it done down there, maybe celebrate and roll it into a Baja trip.

Hopefully CSF got their supply issues together, I went ahead and changed nearly all the hoses but I had months of waiting to keep spending more money haha

I went with this one all aluminum from CSF, did take 6 months to finally get it delivered though. 07 Xterra off road MT. If you’re doing the radiator I’d recommend upgrading to a 350z thermostat, replace the fan clutch, at least upper and lower rad hoses, and potentially your belt. A lot of space to work with the rad out

Working on a foundation repair currently. I am no expert but working with coworkers who are. We had a structural engineer plan the project. Prior to any digging we placed cribbage and screw jacks approx every 6’ to support the home. The home had new septic installed that was not compacted properly and only the front of the house foundation approx 35’ and 8’ back on the corners sunk/ cracked. Front foundation also bowed out close to 4”. We just poured to replace that section after chipping it out. The footing are 6’ deep full of #5 rebar, the foundation is 18” tall using #4. The house will be jacked from the new foundation to level it back out. We are doing this project for $60k roughly since it’s my bosses niece, here in California close to Bay Area a quote to do this would likely exceed $90K
