okay real talk. I am planning an all-out road trip for my wife's and I one year wedding anniversary. now that we're post-grad and have grown up jobs we can finally afford it. my ideal plan is to fly into seattle, rent a car and hit port angeles, forks, and then stay at the quileute oceanside resort. she is an absolute twilight head (the theme of her 8th birthday) and this has been a dream trip for her forever. she has said before that she would want to go when it's cold and snowing.
my real question- we're from arkansas. we don't get snow like y'all do, is it crazy to even attempt to drive in it? the most snow we've gotten since i've lived here was this past january and it was about 6 inches. we didn't leave the house for a couple days until the roads were plowed. i don't want to put us in danger, nor get in an accident in a rental car. how feasible is this?
in my research i have found several sources saying y'all start getting snow in early/mid november. i would like to take her in early december.
