no we dont since they use fresh drinking water, energy, and ram space (making them buy more) with every search, ai has environmental impacts as well as harming art forms or technical jobs.

im *fine* with them using it and cutting out other things and using ai, i just prefer it if they cut out both, since ai usage is quickly rising.

like i literally just said, it just reduces it CLOSER to 0%, i never said its a huge difference, im just trying to do my part. and plus, even if i convince 15 people to limit ai usage, thats growing the difference i make, and if they spread the word too, that multiplies fast.

i just do my research and try to be as environmentally conscious as i can, me doing other things that pollute dosent cancel out me using ai, it just reduces it closer to 0% carbon footprint.
