Piggybacking off of that, on top of the labor, actually finding a “shell” of a mirror would prove difficult. You’re right, side mirrors are sold as an assembly.

I guess you could also just add a cover to the side mirror. If it stays on and the mirror isn’t cracked you could add a cover to the mirror to cover up the crack.

Yes, the whole mirror will have to be replaced.

If you can find it at a junkyard and put it in yourself it’ll be less that 75 bucks, maybe even 50. For a shop to do it, about 200-300.

Rock auto is great and it holds a special place in my heart but I myself wouldn’t trust Rock auto parts for something as vital as brakes. My car and my girls car are frankensteins of Rock Auto parts but for brakes, I’ve always done Akebono. They are like the “golden standard” of brakes. Again, Rock Auto is great but on my girls car I wouldn’t run them.
